Wew laddie, that's quite the unusual revival.
Also what happened to the new RUNE game?

Remember that guy who made a partial remake of the first Project IGI? store.steampowered.com/app/523610/Beyond_Enemy_Lines/

Underage detected.

Never head of it.
Looks like Delta Force meets hitman.
I remember being in awe by the scale of that game at the time, rip novalogic.

I'm 30 and I don't know about this shit.

Are they returning to no saves during mission like in 1?

Same. 31 and never heard of this.

I fondly remember playing some multiplayer demo version of the IGI

I also remember playing a multiplayer demo of Ghost Recon. Then someone found a way to hack tanks and shit into it. Great times.

30s here too. Never heard of it.

Fucking sweet

Well I'm 29 and I vividly remember the first level of the game liek I played it yesterday. Have never finished it, but memory remains. No idea what knd of games you played if you haven't heard of IGI.

Because you're filthy consolefags

24 here
been playing fps on pc pretty much my entire life and never heard of this

that water looks kino for the graphics quality
what the fuck when did this come out even?

I've been playing PC since forever, Delta force? everyone knew about it but I.G.I is a literal who.

You seem strangely aggressive that nobody knows this literal who game and are swinging namecalling insults left and right to avoid facing the facts. The fuck you doing? Just tell people about the game that nobody has heard of and stop acting weird.

I think IGI was more known in euro countries. Especially slav ones

More like I was busy playing Doom and adventure games.

>playing doom in the year 2000AD
Everyone and their grandmother moved on to Half-life

>what the fuck when did this come out even?
First game came out in 2000, second one in 2003.

One of the most fun stealth FPS there was, not sure how you missed it since I remember reading about it in all the magazines and sites at the time.

There were relatively few similar games at the time, NOLF maybe although it lacked the fairly large sandboxy levels, and of course DX also had extensive stealth and alarm/camera mechanics but that's about it. It was super fun to disable all the security cameras in an order that wouldn't alert guards, and snipe tower guards in a sequence that they wouldn't see each other getting popped. Then make your way through a maze of fences and guards along the perimeter. It was pretty fun.

Should I check any of these games? I'm willing to give anything a shot as long as it has a good gameplay, don't care about graphics and shiet.
Is it a tactical shooter?

99% of this board won't know what I.G.I is.

I still have a physical pirate copy of it somewhere from back when i used borrow games from mates then copy them with clonecd.

BOOM
*kachunk*

It's either going to be open-world or corridor shooter, mark my word. Modern devs can't pull of open ended level design.

Blast from the past.

Also reminder that I.G.I stands for "I'm Going In"
