Jesus fucking Christ how can anyone defend this? How long is the loading time on consoles? It must be painful to play this garbage.

Way better than all those PLUS loading screens every time you entered another room.

>he has the denuvo version

To be fair, I will rather have real loading screens over badly hidden ones like "Boost me up this wall" like in GoW18.

At least the loading screens in DMC5 won't always be bad thanks to PC and next gen.

This is why I don't want to S rank every mission on all difficulties. Every time you restart a mission you get 3 fucking loading screens, even when you die you are met with that god awful death screen that takes too long.

On a base PS4 if I want to restart a mission because I took a hit it takes a full minute for me to get back into gameplay

>complaining about loading screens that take 2 seconds at most
the fuck

game on SSD and all loading screens are 2-3 seconds. Never get to read anything on them

All of that takes about 30 seconds you fuckin copypasta shitter. Upgrade your computer or get off of consoles if it makes you feel so bad

It's pretty bad on console. I timed it on a PS4. Changing missions, and changing equipment, then starting the mission took about 3 minutes total. I'm gonna use a chronograph next time I play, and get a total elapsed loading time for one mission.

Are you playing this on console? This isn't an issue on PC.

I have a console and the loading screens aren't that bad. Yea Forums is just full of impatient piss babies.

In the official DenuvoTM version the loads are even longer, it's a nightmare. Even the result screen has a 10 seconds loading.

>At least the loading screens in DMC5 won't always be bad thanks to PC and next gen.

Whe NVme become cheap we will all have instantaneous loading.

going to customise is a pain in the ass
why does RE2 load so fast only once but not this

Alright fags, if you guys have slow HDDs and the loading are taking too long download Mydefrag 4.3.0 and select "System disk monthly" if your HDD is running windows or "Data Disk monthly" if you have SSD (windows) + HDD (games) combo. Leave this thing running all night till it's finished. Mydefrag is the greatest defrag tool ever made, it genuinely improves loading times.

If you force it to put the DMC5 files right on the beginning of the disk it will improve the loading times even further.

how do I this on ps4

PC only, sorry. I never even thought about defragging on consoles but it's likely not possible.

Defragging SSD doesn't do anything

Never had an issue with them
>t. SSD owner

Imagine not even being able to read

Takes like 2 second and that's on my shitty hdd lol.

Correct, never defrag an SSD. When doing the "Data disk monthly" you select only your data HDD, the main drive SSD should always be unchecked. Mydefrag was developed before the SSD fever, so it doesn't ignore SSDs, but still i assume everyone knows SSDs should never be defragged and you will never have loading problems even with the cheapest modern SSDs, so it doesn't matter.

Is thre really an excuse not to have 500 GB SSD in this day and age? Even a thirld world pleb like me could afford 500 GB SSD. It allows you to have both Windows and a decent number of games installed on it.
Admit it, nobody needs to have over 3 games installed on their PC at any time anyway because you won't play them all. If you really don't want to redownload, just copy the files to HHD for archiving until you feel like playing again and keep the things you currently play on SSD.

>loading screen
I play on PC and what is this?

I can't afford.

Well, there's that Intel Optane stuff. /g/ considers it a meme, but tests do show that it's very close to an SSD:
youtube.com/watch?v=2BS_6xOf0mw

With this stuff you can literally install a 3TB hdd and have massive storage and almost SSD speeds for almost half the price of a 1tb SSD.

>Intel Optane
Looks interesting, might not be as useful when it comes to speed as SSDs because of how it works but still very interesting.
Of course /g/ thinks it's a meme, just like Yea Forums thinks every new game is bad, so does /g/ think everything except command lines and Linux is bad.

I used to think it was a meme too, but making a HDD be just 1-4 seconds slower than a 500gb Samsung 860 in loading times is genuinely impressive if you ask me.

The Optane stick is pretty cheap, that's what is impressive, if you're buying a SSD just for faster loading might as well just go Optane if your motherboard can use it.

I dunno, user. I can't even read the tips on the loading screens - all the loading is that quick.

If you have a pro or X it's not bad. Just upgrade bro. It's the same thing for MHW. Plays great on the upgraded systems.
