Because 99% of the time pirating television/anime/etc. is the only time you can watch it at your own pace rather than just when a streaming site or cable tells you. Games are not like this, so while pirating from EA or AAAs are fine, there is usually no good reason to do so with smaller companies unless they are massive cunts who deserve it or they have very unfair prices.

Because here, unlike other boards, piratefags play the higher moral ground when they obviously don't have it. Instead of admitting they pirate because its free and they can get away with it, you hear stuff like "I don't like the devs"/"game its too expensive"/"I'm only trying the game, If i liked it I will buy it".
