Government/corporation using shards of Rebellion to create human-demon hybrid
Make a Sparda prequel. Sparda would basically be an amalgamation of Dante/Vergil/Nero with a devil arm that's similar to V's Shadow, along with his own new stuff of course.
Brand new protagonist with Nero as the antagonist.
Nero returns as MC.
Patty is the new summoner character, with Shadow and Griffon returning, plus more. Imagine Patty/Griffon bants.
There would have a be a Dante-style character in there too, even if Dante himself didn't return.
Dante's son and the enemy is Mundus. Gotta follow through on that dmc1 tease
>Nero is MC
>Dante and Vergil are in hell going to kill Mundus
>Vergil sends V back to Earth to help Nero with some plot bullshit like what > says
>V is the Vergil to Nero's Dante
>Vergil and Dante are unlockables once the game is completed
Unfortunately, 5 ruined Mundus with Qliphoth lore.
>Patty gains new demon summons as she makes progress through the game like when Dante would get devil arms
Fuck I really hope this happens.
Make her play like Maria from Rondo of Blood though instead of V style gameplay.
>Dante having a son
Nigga he's too busy eating pizza to give even Trish or Lady ol razzle dazzle
buddy cop story with Virgil and Dante going through hell, Nero can come too.
Next entry is potentially 6 years off, if that.
Itsuno may want to do something entirely new
God willing, Dragon's Dogma 2.
The real question if 6 ever happens is if it will break the even number curse.
6 is already doomed to disappoint because 5 had that 10 year comeback factor as well as #fucktameem and all that. next one won't have as much impact and they will probably try to recreate the hype of devil trigger with a new song that won't be the same. it's especially doomed if itsuno moves on and it has a new director who doesn't get things quite right.
Hey niggers, how's the DMC Collection on PC? Is it playable?
It's the same as on PS4 and Xbone.
Its fine, I would choose to mod 3 with the style switching mod.
Is it true that they made the game easier for HD Collection?
Dante and Vergil are the soul of the series. They might as well not bother with future games if those two won't be in it.
not that I'm aware of
You might be thinking of DMC3 becoming 'easier' but that's because the original version of DMC3 was glitched and Normal mode was actually Hard mode.
That wasn't a glitch though. The western release of DMC3 was harder than the nip version and it was glorious for it.
I would recommend emulating dmc1 if possible since the HD coll. version is not a perfect recreation. Many consider the differences minor, though.
Nero could use a rival.....Mundus's son
DMC6 revolves around Nero bonding with his dad and wacky uncle, performing a demon/folklore monster hunting road trip.
Nero's new rival is a powerful fighter that uses his fists instead of weaponry due to having arms of godly quality.
Patty hiring Nero to take Dante back from hell
DMC6 should be about Sparda and his demon buddies rebelling against Mundus
>with Shadow and Griffon returning
All I fucking want. Cat and Bird are kino.
where did Nero even get his Rev-sword from again?
how is it on-par with rebellion and Yamato when it comes to demon killin?
>Unfortunately, 5 ruined Mundus with Qliphoth lore.
You mean fixed.
Mundus being the almighty demon lord that's supposed to be the ultimate big bad was always a fucking problem because he gets defeated in the first fucking game.
Every DMC up until DMC5 had to dance around the fact that Dante had beaten the king of demons in the very first fucking game.
not like you need to use magical weaponry to kill demons. Lady just has a bunch of guns and explosives and kills them just fine.
>Vergil keeps sending V out of hell so his human side is able to chill out in the human world
>All the while Dante is forced to beat Urizen senseless until he comes back
Agnus built it
It was basically an enhanced Order sword, which since they already had Agnus working on things it's not impossible to think he could make pretty good anti-demon stuff.
Nero just went and amped it up for funsies.
You can see Credo has a sword that's pretty similar in shape.
>his sword doesnt transforms when he DT
I hate that shit
Fantastic art idea.
>somebody finds V's cane
>transforms into V
>Capcom's new scam copies the pokemon gimick.
>DMC:new series feat. Dante/Vergil from the original series
Which one do you buy?
Keep parroting about Gene retard
Same shit of GENE vs NERO. You are worst than KYRIE HAS A TWINS faggot
Red queen isn't a Devil arm
Why would it? It's not a devil arm.
There won't and shouldn't be another DMC
5 is the perfect ending. It's also stated that there is no demon more powerful than Urizen and Dante beat all the top level demons already.
Just let it rest and make a new action franchise.
Never mentioned Gene. Literally rent free and I love it.
DMD is such a chore holy shit. Enemies have shit ton of HP, and changes to DT mechanics means that they'll DT once their health reach 25% rather than timer based.
Unlike previous entries, personally I dont find increased in aggression at all compared to SOS, just damage modifier
jinx buy me a coke
>Hey V, you go be dead weight's dad while party here.
Red Queen is Nero's personal customization of one of the Order of the Sword's Durandal swords.
He switched in a much heavier blade and stuck in a stronger engine with three exhausts to the Durandal's two.
Since they were designed and manufactured by Agnus, there may be some demon-related enhancements made to them. It may not be a magical devil arm, but it is still a big fucking slab of metal reinforced to fight on-par with demons.
I don't think that's how it works. Nico notes that other than being an exceptionally good conduit for demonic energy, there's not really anything special about V's cane.
Dante had a secret daughter from a drunken loveless 1 night stand that he never told anyone about to avoid them getting Eva'd (which lends to his depression)
Nero gets a job and it's her running rampant on devilpower, and after a few fights he has to play mentor for her while they go fetch their boomer dads who's eternal dual in hell has lead to demons trying to "escape hell and those crazy sparda twins who keep wrecking shit everywhere"
Devil May Cry, Inc
>Create-a-hunter with various unlockable cosmetics.
>Customize gameplay with unlockable moves and abilities; a mixed bag of new and familiar techniques from various games.
>Missions all over the globe (Fortuna, New Red Grave, etc.)
>Defeat boss demons to unlock demon arms
>Devil trigger calls in the calvary. Nero/Trish/Lady support your hunter for a limited time.
Dante/Vergil appear in cutscenes. Call in Trish/Lady in for support. Nero teaches you abilities, and Nico upgrades weapons.
W-What happened to Dante and Virgil?
I wouldn't mind looking into the world and characters more.
Even if it's just a simple one-off stories about jobs Dante, Trish, and Lady worked. Vergil being Vergil in hell, or even Nero's origins into the Order.
But I do agree that it shouldn't extend past 5 in terms of timeline. At least not in the foreseeable future.
QUIET YOU
They went to hell to fight demons together forever.
went to go look for demon pussy
Fair point, but Credo's sword transforms when he DT. Plus it would be more fitting since Nero DT looks like an angel with the horns and the wings
Sick, thought it was something bad.
I liked that in Nico's report on Blue Rose she talks about how it has two barrels and fires from both of them for reasons other than rule of cool.
I feel like Dante and Vergil getting stuck in hell is completely irrelevant since they seem to get out of hell all the time anyway.
Dante basically rode his bike out of hell in 2 and then I don't even know how the fuck Vergil got out before the events of 5. They have the Yamato, can't they just fucking teleport out?
Did they fix the Kalina in 3?
Also keep in mind that the DLC will 100% be about Vergil and Dante escaping from hell, meaning there is no logical reason for the next game not to feature them, which sets the stakes to 0, since they should be curpstomping every single demon left alive.
That sounds cute
Credo underwent the artificial Angelo process Agnus devised, and I imagine his equipment was part of that bargain. Nero's DT is all natural.
If I recall correctly, that sword is part of his demon body, because after he gets stabbed and dies, he doesn't even have the sword on him.
As much as I hate the idea, I think introducing heaven and angels is gonna be Capcom's "OH SHIT RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS" panic button.
If it does happen, I hope they're the villains and total fucking assholes though. That would be a pretty funny twist. Demon and human world team-up.
It would have been, but Nero saved them from each other with the power of love and a good ass-kicking.
Quite literally just make it about Vergil.
If it comes to that, might as well do a Bayo crossover.
>it should end because of the story
fuck off
Dante and Lady's daughter. Nero is a side character and so is Lady. Dante is nowhere to be found. Hunting humans possessed by Devil Arms and regular demons.
You play as Mundus in human form. That's all.
I 100% support this, and that headcanon autism that suggested Sparda and Madama Butterfly were hell siblings.
In Mundus' profile in 1 it mentions that they do in fact exist, in that many higher ranking demons are fallen angels. Maybe they're staying out of it because they see that Sparda's descendants are handling shit just fine.
Explore alternate dimensions and have the two playable characters be Nero and Donte
I mean, ideally it'd just be a new powerful demon appearing that Vergil, Nero and Dante have to defeat together so we can finally have a proper Vergil campaign.
That's been retconned. Itsuno is on record as saying the DMC universe has no god, no heaven and no angels.
>Dante and Vergil find out that hell is just DmC
>Tag team fight with both of them VS Donte and Vorgil
I'd play it.
I wanna see a DLC to DMC5 that is about Vergil, where it starts right after DMC3 and then timeskips to DMC5's ending.
Reboot chaos legion into it.
>Donte and Vergin are default dubbed in Spanish
Fuck, I want this now.
Yes
The novel explains that when Yamato was fractured after Vergil got Angelo'd, several of its fragments ended up spread across hell and would periodically cut open rifts that allowed demons to pass through. Dante eventually got lucky and was able to jump through a large enough rift to get back to Earth.
Vergil on the other hand was able to get through because the Qliphoth had punched through the barrier between earth and hell. He hustled to get Yamato back and get on the throne before anybody else.
Not only does it have two barrels, but Nero specifically loads his revolver with two different rounds (you can even see them in the model viewer). The hammer is designed so that one fires a fraction of a second after the other, and Nero loads it so that it first fires a solid piercing round, the second a hollow-point expanding round to maximize damage.
>Next DMC game
>it pulls a MGS4, Sparda wasn't actually dead, just went to hell
>More Mundus
most of the differences can be found in DMC1 with a lot of strange graphical bugs that really fuck with the atmosphere and a lot of attention to detail is lost, if you're into that kinda thing. However DMC2 and 3 are pretty much perfect
>Patty fights through Hell to get that dick.
>DMC2 and 3 are pretty much perfect
>DMC2 is pretty much perfect
We know what you mean, but it's a funny phrase nonetheless.
...
>Vergil returns
>wants to impregnate Kyrie with the POWER of Sparda
>Nero takes her and keeps his father away
>Vergil is the hero who has to chase after them in some abandoned demon castle
>Nero is the final boss
That's dumb.
>This demon is your "reason"
>your reason
>Urizen
>Patty happens upon V's Cane
>It's a good fit for her latent magical powers as the daughter of a powerful sorcerer
>Patty becomes a mix between a Dragon's Dogma-tier Sorceress and a Chaos Legion Glyph Knight, making a number of demons submit and fight for her while she shoots fireballs and summons tornadoes
>By the time she gets to Dante, she is horrifyingly powerful and Dante is scared shitless
ITSUNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
New protagonist, new villain.
Next to no connections to old characters (No Sparda prequel, Dante's daughter etc)
Returning characters have mostly minor roles.
Generally just focused on telling a completely new story within the DMCverse. Since DMC5 wrapped everything up and was the ultimate fan-service game.
You may not like it, but this is the correct way forward.
I'd fucking buy it.
Sounds like soft reboot, and that's a good thing
>Urizen doesn't even have a name
>It was just something V made up on the spot when talking to Dante.
Whens the other half of the SMT/DMC crossover. We had DMC characters in the shitty SMT gacha game, when's demifiend in DMC5 DLC
No, he tells Dante it's Vergil, Urizen is the name he came up with for everyone else.
He also said westerners might have trouble coming to terms with the notion of a world with demons but no god. I guess he was right.
Based Infested Tank
Urizen comes from William Blake's mythos. It's just witty cuntery on V's part
A spin-off featuring Patty as the protagonist unironically. Demons come to take revenge on her house for her ancestor memeing for them, so she as well needs to become a wizard.
She gets to bind demons and takes mechanics from V with some direct offensive capabilities like fireballs too, making it so it's not really a DMC game but close enough, since the other two playable characters are Lady and Lucia. Feeling is also a little different, closer to Bayonetta, but less melee-based I guess.
>Whens the other half of the SMT/DMC crossover.
Already happened. It was Kaneko doing the Devil Trigger designs for DMC3.
No I mean the recent one. The DMC5 characters were added to the SMT gacha game.
Fucking this god help me a Sparda game is long overdue.
Dante and Vergil in SMTV in 20XX
wasn't that more or less the plot of 2, just with artificial demons instead of hybrids?
I just want Demifiend in DMC. Like V but you can actually fight while the demons are summoned.
I just want some cool themes youtube.com
Now that I think about it, a good game that wont fuck up the plot would be a game that bridge the end of 2 with Nocturne. Just a silly spin off
the full transition from dante to nero would require Nero vs Dante in the final fight
>covers the end of 2, how Lucifer contacted Dante and hired him, and Dante's adventures during Nocturne
>enemies are SMT demons
>covers Dante's shenanigans including boss fights against Demifiend and then fighting alongside him against Kagutsuchi and Lucifer
fund it
Theres still plenty of lore to explore, new games dont mean direct continuations.
Sparda still hasnt even made an appearance in a game so they could make an entire trilogy about Sparda if they wanted to.
>walking in the Quiliphot
>normal hole like the others that drops you to the next floor
>the fall is far longer
>drop in an empty arena full of demons
>Dante is ready to duke it out
>but the demons step back
>youtube.com
It would be the tits
It would be amazing, but nevermind that SMT is still too niche, the bigger issue would be that being associated with DMC2 would be off-putting for DMC fans. Or anyone who played DMC2 really. Would love to have the game solely so that we can finally fucking get an HQ master of the full normal battle theme of Nocturne jesus fuck
The story follows Dante's daughter
This and the daughter is a goth chick with V’s powers
Just go megaten
Angels are demons
They already did that in DMC4
Mundus returns and corrupts Dante and turns him into the next Nelo Angelo side-villain. Vergil and Nero have to team up in an awkward allegiance.
Dante gets uncorrupted and unlocked as a playable character for the final mission.
>whoops we got lost in hell and ended up in SMT world
They’ll fucking do it.
>whoops I got lost in hell and somehow ended up alongside Nelo Angelo in DMC1
Vergil in PXZ
>Angels are demons
That's literally the case in DMC lore. There are demons with light powers such as Beowulf.
Demons in DMC are essentially yokai.
DMC6 featuring Nero and the DMC Crew is about Nero driving his party van around the world hunting demons n shit. Most of the missions are self contained little stories about this and that and also way longer then they are now. Only the last few missions and some of the earlier ones lead into some grand narritive while we basically just have DMC Roadtrip, visiting older and new locations of the franchise.
>credits fight vs. Eva where the winner tops on the post-credit babymaking scene
I'd throw that fight so hard you'd call me Nero
It doesn't need to be world end tier every time. They could go make Nero become a demon detective that snuffs out weird paranormal activity. Have shit like a sorta action Silent Hill where the stakes are smaller, but the story is more personal. Even if the cast is a bunch of one offs, it wouldn't be that hard to have Nero stick up for some people the audience grows to care for, especially since they have that whole orphan angle they're playing with Nero and Kyrie.
I don't want to see Mayo constantly upstage the dmc crew just because she has a vagina.
>revealing the mistery of sparda
nah, nothing they do could live up
Why the fuck did they have so much damn health? And why couldn't you hit the rockets back at the heli?
>more Nevan
Yes, please.
Why not? It'll be cool to see them outstyle each other with more and more ridiculous feats.
>upgraded to Deluxe edition seeing I'm going to play the shit out of this
>these live action scenes
Jesus the Nico and Nero intro van scene is fucking gold.
>Bayo and Dante start with a dance-off that turns into a tango, each occasionally trying to sneak in an attack or gunshot at one another which is always dodged stylishly
>Bayo goes Serious mode and Kenshiros with a ton of wicked weaves
>Dante repels them with Million Stab and Prop Shredder
>Bayo summons hair demons
>Dante Tricks around them for a while, lets himself get eaten and woo hoos out of their stomach
>Bayo activates Witch Time
>Dante Quicksilvers to cancel it out
>Bayo summons Madame Butterfly to galactic punch Dante
>Dante Royal Guards it
>Bayo blows a kiss to Dante
>Dante blushes
Dante should throw a rose at the kiss, THEN turn around and blush
What weapon could they give Lady now for her to keep her "just a nigga with a rocket launcher" gimmick now that dante has both Kalina Anns? Kalina Ann III?
you think hell wont find its way out? Dante and Vergil in place full of demons and next game suppose to be on Earth? They just gonna make Vergil playable and a part of story.
Why is everyone so autistic in this game?
The result of broken families.
>Lady gets Kalina Ann II back from Dante when he and Vergil dimension cut their way out of hell
>Lady and Trish go looking for new weapons to reinforce their fighting ability
>Lady teams up with Nico to test weapons
>Lady's Bren Ten and Skorpion get the Goldstein treatment with some demonic enhancements
>Kalina Ann II further enhanced, Lady arms herself with an array of unique grenades with a variety of magical effects
>Trish goes with Dante and Vergil during one of their hell-vacations, looking for Demon Weaponmaker Machiavelli
>Gets a new energy weapon to replace Artemis and a scythe/spear to replace Sparda
desu id go so far as to say it shouldnt be world ending tier every time
>hell is some sort of dream zanarkand situation where everyone who dies in the real world are reincarnated as someone else in hell world
>demons control the lives of humans in order to make their lives a figurative hell, their only respite being that demons can't physically touch them because they're in limbo
>angels are just a sub-species of demons
hell citizens act similar to but never exactly like their real world selves so while hell sparda and hell eva, who is an angel instead of a human, sitll have twins, hell mundus is still in charge and hell sparda lost against him
It fucking wont
Why does everyone keep telling me to play dmc 1? its so fucking shit.
It's alright. They certainly refined it by the future games but it's not a total boring waste of time like 2 is.
The only truly godawful part of 1 is any of the Nightmare fights (and they put him in 3 times, how thoughtful).
