It actually be good.

Boobs haha

lol man

>Foreign Mushroom Kingdom parallel/analog is attacked by Bowser analog
>Royal sends the obligatory pixie guide NPC to Mushroom Kingdom in search fo the two mustachio'd plumbers of legend to save the kingdom
>Pixie Guide accidentally runs into Wario and Waluigi
>convinces them to go on the adventure with promise of fame and riches
>greater emphasis on bodily humor and Bros. attacks that look painful and rough for Waluigi, such as Wario crushing him into a ball and bowling him at enemies, bending him into a boomerang and throwing him. or snapping his limp body around like a whip
>in spite of (or due to) their stupidity, the Wario Bros. manage to survive from chapter to chapter by the skin of their teeth
>late game twist is that Pixie Guide was a traitor to the kingdom and purposely sought out Wario and Waluigi in the hopes that they'd be too dumb to save the day
>Wario and Waluigi decide to save the kingdom out of revenge inaddition to pursuit of money

Something more like BIS again. I just want Fawful back man

Let there be a mario and luigi secret boss battle

>it’s another Wario & Waluigi post
*yawn*

Bros Attacks need to be streamlined again like in Superstar Saga. They got more and more convoluted as the games went on and started just becoming minigames that felt like a chore to actually do in battle.

I would absolutely love this, but only as a secondary story (like Bowsers Minions)

Since it will be on the Switch, maybe a bigger overworld that contains more story elements and encourages out of your way exploration.

What we all want. Wario and WaLuigi split adventure that you have to play as like you did with bowser inside story.
Mario and Luigi Doppleganger Danger!

Did anyone have difficulty in doing the Advanced Bros. Attacks from SS? I could never get the Bounce Bros. Advanced version down right.
>I just want Fawful back man
He died at the end of BIS. He's not coming back.

In Superstar Saga, I really liked that the menu was literally Mario & Luigi's suitcase. The "coins" were in a coin tin, they had a watch for playtime, their status menu was their passports. The equipment menu was a dopp kit with a little pocket mirror.
It gave the thing a real charm and identity, that you were controlling the Mario Bros. in a new land, far from the familiar comforts of the Mushroom Kingdom, living out of their suitcase.

Bring back the quick and hardhitting Bros Moves instead of the sleep-inducing minigames they've become. Since they're presumably working on the console's move to Switch, I'd like to see them go back to basics and build field and combat moves around just Mario & Luigi, no Mario hurling a psychic dream army or babies or Paper Mario or anything like that.

fawful had his time in the sun.
I dont get why a Wario and Waluigi is always non negotiable with Nintendo.

wario

You could easily take the cheap way out and just make it Fawfuls spirit or something.

>I dont get why a Wario and Waluigi is always non negotiable with Nintendo.
Wario and Waluigi as the playable protagonists? Aren't they bad guys?

They are, but you could have them fight for their own personal gain like you would expect them to, because they are your average hilarious, yet stupid antagonists.

be cool if they play a Mario and Luigi game where the bros were on the run because of the actions of Wario and Waluigi. A game where Mario and luigi have to clear their names.
Mushroom kingdom and other kingdoms are chasing them down. Mario and Luigi cant fight them because they are the good guys of course. But it seems to me. the reason we dont get a wario and waluigi type of game is because Nintendo doesnt want players attacking friendly npcs.
I mean when you got to play as bowser, you didnt get to fight toads at all.

playable as in like Breath of Fire 4. where you played the main antagonist for a while to see how he continues his dark path.

>Wario & Waluigi: Thick and Thin
>Wario & Waluigi: Men of Steal
>Wario & Waluigi: Partners in Crime

>Wario and Waluigi: Doppleganger Danger

I like the way you think, might even be worth buying a Switch for.

Anything but Rabbids

Nintendo could, but I seriously doubt they would. The way they ended BIS, it was really as though Fawful was going to be gone for good. I could see the Shroobs plausibly coming back though, because Bowser's Castle had a whole chamber of those cryogenically frozen Shroobs in BIS.
Honestly, I'd rather see the babies return. I thought they made PiT kind of funny and I loved the Copy Flowers attack.

Cackletta died and came back to life in the same damn game.

This is mario for christ sake. Nobody STAYS dead.

What if it took place in another kingdom entirely, like BeanBean? I feel that would pass because the NPCs would be new and unfamiliar.

Attached: A9F12138-0A23-4F14-A0EE-DBF06F594F77.jpg (900x900, 136K)

would work, then you have the princess coming over to try to clear things up only for negotiations to break down by some greedy Jafar like character is working with the two behind the scenes.

Am I seriously the ONLY one who DOESN’T want to turn this series into a fucking Wario series?

Like god damn, I get that you want Paper Mario to be the only Mario RPG franchise, but still...

Attached: 49F80A9E-F4D8-4462-808B-AC901B8606EF.jpg (1055x2069, 366K)

woah woah what?
no it's not going to be a wario series it's just one game where they are the villians.

Yes, but that was because Fawful was there to suck up Cackletta's remains after you beat her at Woohoo Hooniversity. Either way, I don't see it happening. I don't think Nintendo has any reason to bring Fawful back, and he isn't a recurring antagonist the way Bowser is. Cackletta didn't make an appearance after SS, the Shroobs didn't make an appearance after PiT (not counting the optional boss in BIS), and Fawful hasn't made a reappearance since BIS.

but hold on, he still is the only antagonist who did come back. so you have to give Nintendo credit here.

I prefer a Mario and Luigi Wario crossgame with Warioware characters. Alpha dreams said before they couldn't make 4 players possible with the buttons without it be too complex

True, but he's not a major recurring antagonist in the way Bowser or King Boo are. And besides, he got turned into that black bug thing after Bowser beats him in BIS, so I don't think he would look the same in the next M&L if he does show up there unless Nintendo makes some random story to explain how he goes back to normal. I mean, I wouldn't mind being proven wrong; I always thought he was an interesting villain.

I want Starlow to continue to be the partner!

Attached: Starlow1.png (88x120, 16K)

I want starlow to never appear in the series again

Donkey Kong as the third character like how Paper Mario was in Jam

Fuck Wariofags

Attached: 1529680028246.png (1716x1420, 2.85M)

What do you have against her?

SS > BIS > SS DX > DT > PiT > BIS DX > PJ

Attached: Popple_Artwork_-_Superstar_Saga.png (706x859, 156K)

She's just very annoying and I'm no Luigi fan boy but the way she treats him isn't funny it's really just mean.

Attached: 1547436980810.png (1066x384, 168K)

>very annoying
She's just trying to help. Maybe too often, but better than not caring.

>treating Luigi meanly
Yeah, I guess you're right. :( Would be nice if she treated him better

Gon-poster

if the characters are going to have that shading with no outlines look of the 3DS games, then I hope the new game in switch will use KOF13 Esque sprites.
but what I really want is hand drawn sprites or Guilty gear level models

Attached: tumblr_onxrdlz6T41rrftcdo1_500.png (500x325, 30K)

Do people actually find her attractive?

>when i mean hand drawn i mean with outlines and one-tone shading, maybe highlight's in dramatic scenes
>Have the story split between mario & luigi and Bowser & Peach I really want to see Bowser working with Peach to reach towards the same goal without mario being the middle man

Fast bros attacks. Like SSS fast.
As few tutorials as possible.
Incentives to go back to older zones later in the game to find optional shit.
Sidequests.

Attached: 1490182226127.jpg (473x488, 17K)

"Attractive" as in liking the character or waifu?

I guess a small amount actually like the character, like me.

Can't say I've heard much of waifu though.

In the sense of waifu. I don't mind her character all that much, although I feel she does trash on Luigi a bit too much; making him cry in PJ and having Paper Mario turn into a handkerchief for him was a bit too much, even for "humor." I remember there were Starlow threads before, and some anons were trying to add breasts to her or something.

Yeah, I agree she should be nicer to Luigi, but I kind of got the feeling she actually likes him and is pulling a Helga on him.

Oh my, that's strange. I've never actually seen a thread like that. Would be nice to have a regular Starlow thread, but without whatever you mentioned lol

Attached: Starlow2.png (431x660, 75K)

Honestly, I feel she likes Mario way more, since he's supposed to be the "hero" and Luigi is like the stereotypical scaredy-cat. She legit got angry at Luigi because he suggested Mario and her should fight the Kretin in BIS, instead of Mario and himself. Yeah, if you search up "Starlow" in the archives, you'd probably find some lewds or something.

That makes sense. It would be nice if someone liked Luigi more than Mario for once though.

However in Dream Team she seems like to like messing with Luigi's mustache and moving his nose, so I thought that may be some kind of flirting, even if necessary for the story.

Bros moves that are based of there acrobatic skills instead of shitty items would be kino, also bring back fire and thunder moves

I just want to play TTYD again with new partners and badges. Stop making the inferior mario and luigi games and stop introducing dumb gimmicks to an already perfect formula.

I missed when it was just mario and luigi without the need for a partner to talk the characters heads off, the roadtrip bro vibe of SSS is long gone unfortunately.

I want to see more of Starlow's people, maybe with some connection to Rosalina/Lumas.

Attached: 200px-DarkStarSealed.png (200x150, 49K)

I can understand that sentimentality. However to me that kind of character adds a lot of charm to the series.

That would be amazing! But just keep Rosalina out of it - she's in way too much these days

Attached: Starlow3.png (625x1086, 511K)

Did you guys like Stuffwell from PiT? I honestly can't say whether I liked him more than Starlow. Starlow felt more outspoken than Stuffwell, but I just loved Stuffwell's "BACK TO ADVENTURE."

Unfortunately I'm not as familiar with Stuffwell, so I couldn't say. I would probably like him though.

Oh, well, you should play PiT. He's like Starlow but way more neutral and really only appears during the tutorial scenes and important plot points.

From what I remember he knew when to shut up
youtube.com/watch?v=gSuVRSyuIow

I can imagine Starlow shitting on Luigi for this

A game that takes place in Sarasaland.

>plot about Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toadsworth going on a vacation
>they land on the capital, a grassy, flowery paradise on the middle of the desert
>Daisy is there and receives them warmly
>they visit her castle, which is partially a huge greenhouse and touristic attraction for flower enthusiasts
>Petey Piranha works for Daisy as the place's bodyguard
Them shit happens
>the sky goes dark and an evil Pharaoh briefly shows up in the sky
>a curse is casted upon all those born in the kingdom
>the curse makes they get mind controlled by the evil Pharaoh and do evil shit
>after a tutorial fight against Petey, Daisy explains what's going on
>the pharaoh was the original ruler of Birabuto Kingdom (the Egypt themed one) who desired to take over the neighbor kingdoms by force
>he was stopped and sealed away a long time ago by an adventurer and four wise men
>this is also how Sarasaland later came to be, an unison between four kingdoms with the royal family being the mediator
>the Pharaoh is back now and will eventually break out of his seal if left uncheked
>to stop him the Mario bros need to travel to the neighbor kingdoms and find the descendants of the four wise men
>being foreigners, they are immune to the Pharaoh's curse
>this is a secret mission since anyone in the kingdom except for the direct descendants can go bad at any moment
And them you have it, Mario & Luigi - The curse of Sarasaland. The game can have a gimmick built around power up flowers (unique to the Kingdom due to its climate) like fire, ice, spike, poison etc who power up the bros until they get hit once. Also something about a real life garden management where you can grown your own flowers to sell, use in fights and all that.

For it to be Paper Mario instead

FPBP

Well I like Starlow appearing in cutscenes and just throughout. Much more interesting this way. And PiT seems like they took the difficulty too seriously, especially with playing as the babies too.

You know, watching that cutscene, I realize that everybody gives Luigi a hard time, not just Starlow. Honestly Nintendo is just mean to Luigi. Mario himself gives Luigi a hard time here.

I can almost imagine Starlow trashing on Baby Luigi just by association.

Lurk more
Sounds great, I specially like the concept of fame and fortune being applied to the bros.

I just want to see the Shroobs get unfrozen from Bowser's Castle.

Attached: 33636332_p10.png (128x128, 16K)

>everybody gives Luigi a hard time
From mario perceptive he just woke up and saw luigi yelling at babies he didnt seem mad more annoyed, Mario defends Luigi character alot
youtu.be/XlWI8NCo1Ms?t=232
Here he even lies and said that Luigi defeated shrooms by himself.

>And PiT seems like they took the difficulty too seriously, especially with playing as the babies too.
That was the best part imo. When you pull off a very successful Copy Flowers or Mix Flowers attack, it feels awesome. And maybe it's just me, but I felt that the final boss fight for PiT was more epic than that of BIS.
>Honestly Nintendo is just mean to Luigi.
Nintendo did have that Year of Luigi thing, although they've developed his personality to being a baby. I feel they do it to juxtapose Luigi always being afraid with Mario being ready to fight any enemy without hesitation.

True, but Mario didn't even let Luigi explain what happened. For all Mario knows, the babies could have been crying from falling down.

But you make a good point

I like it better than the recent Mario & Luigi titles, but maybe it needs a parallel story of what Mario and Luigi are doing like in Bowser's Inside Story.

A good story that wasn't drawn out like DT. And get rid of this horrid new artstyle/sprites.

>An art style that tries to push what 3D can do like Arc Systems has been doing
>More variety in camera placement for different areas instead of full on birds eye all the time
>Co-op focus since every Switch has 2 controllers
>Wario and Waluigi

There's a damn lot they could do but I'm sure we'll get something really similar to the 3DS games just in "HD"

Attached: FIREBALLSYUM.png (161x162, 35K)

It just seems like bosses have far too much HP and deal way too much damage to the point of having to play perfectly to win.

>Year of Luigi
Everything you said here seems true and unfortunate. It would be nice if they had him be a brave coward in Mario&Luigi games like they have him be in Luigi's Mansion.

bowser can still be a force to deal with in the story. Infact he can be angry that these two dopple gangers are doing a better job than him.

>It just seems like bosses have far too much HP and deal way too much damage to the point of having to play perfectly to win.
I feel that makes beating the bosses feel way more fulfilling.
>It would be nice if they had him be a brave coward in Mario&Luigi games like they have him be in Luigi's Mansion.
I haven't played any of the Luigi's Mansion games, so I can't speak of that. But there was that one part in SS where Mario was incapacitated, and Luigi got so scared you couldn't even make him jump. He had to trick himself to believing that he was Mario so you could move properly and fight. Those sort of incidents cemented his character's personality.

>feel way more fulfilling
That's fair and true. Could lead to frustration though.

That's ridiculous. In Luigi's Mansion, he conquers his fear of the haunted mansion to save Mario, proving that he can do what is necessary even if he's scared.

I'm just mentioning what happened in Superstar Saga. Mario got sick or something, and the only cure was going through an enemy-filled area. Luigi became so scared the jump button got greyed out, and a Toad needed to convince him that he was actually Mario so he would be courageous enough to get the cure.

>and a Toad needed to convince him that he was actually Mario
>Toad

rofl

To crossover with Zelda!

Attached: smugtrap.png (382x238, 33K)

A Magikoopa in the original, Dr. Toadley in the remake. I haven't played the game in years. I don't remember the characters exactly.

Fuck Mario & Luigi, let Tomato Adventure shine for once.

Attached: recruit_bt_desiner.jpg (224x224, 30K)

I'm saying that Nintendo doing that to Luigi is ridiculous. They need to keep him a scaredy cat but brave when necessary

I want to see Mario and Luigi!

Attached: 8630d95f10a088034c05b01e01d2c39f.jpg (800x500, 71K)

kind of kills the humor there.

Yeah, I guess. Just feels dishonest to Luigi's personality.

Those look great, though

To be set in The Zone

Attached: 1507176461762.jpg (1280x1024, 859K)

for it to be canceled

I dont think so. Luigi is still a coward. being hypnotised is something that a comedic game would do with some one like Luigi. You maybe thinking more of the lines of paper luigi. But this Luigi is a much bigger coward.

kek
