It just has terrible game feel, nothing really has animations so everything from your aim to characters moving just feels slippery.

Actually a pretty fantastic game as well as the best furry murder simulator out there. The first hour or so before humanoid enemies show up is kinda shit but after that it's incredibly solid.
Also the cutscenes are amazingly hammy.

I mostly just played the demo. I remember there being this glitch where you could stand in a doorway and enemies couldn't shoot you. Then they would run up to you and get stuck, and you could melee them to death.

It's not too bad if you grew up playing stuff like Resident Evil, but it does still make the game less fun than it could have been. Here's what I don't understand, though: Tank controls were used in early 3D games because it was a brand new concept and developers weren't quite sure how to make the controls work. But Crusader was a 2D sprite-based game. They knew how to do controls for those. There's no reason for the game to have tank controls.

You can compete with ai or human players online, or in splitscreen.
goods spawn randomly on the map so you have to be the first player on location to get it, the player that has earned the most cash when the timer runs out wins.

I just remembered this existed a few weeks back. I read about it in a gaming magazine back when it was coming out and thought the graphics looked incredible and the gore very disturbing.
