I want 2 so fucking much.
Just let me play it already.
pls
The worst game I've ever played. I liked it.
is this game like stalker?
The color palette is.
If you want to feel the existential dread that STALKER had, you will find in tenfold here. Fun? Not so much.
Tell me about it. It's only game I'm hyped for in 2019.
Is there a set release date yet?
Only had this tweet so far.
Grief looks a bit more sinister now.
So this is replacing the journal?
Yus, considering how narrative threads are more organic, a system like this makes much more sense. It's one of my favorite additions to the game so far.
Also, Lara is cute. CUTE!
i thought it was a remake
It kind of is but it also isn't.
At the very begining of the kickstarter the idea was to make a remake then they changed direction somewhat, more details:

The army looks pretty good.
I remember I had a 5-6 hour session where I was about to finish the game. I got a nasty headache and was physically sick from walking back and forth, listening to the same music and just the overall game. But I really wanted to finish it, because I knew if I wouldn't now, ill never finish it. So I just turned on fly and breezed through, but even then the amount of back and forth was absolutely insane. Can't say I loved this game, definitely an unique experience
hopefully there's less of that in the next game. fuck anyone who says walking for literal hours is part of the experience.
it definitely could have improved the player walk speed without losing anything
Alpha had fast travel via canal boats (costs special boat tokens) and they also implemented sprinting (which drains you stamina meter). So if you don't want to walk all the way the option is there now.
Same. I can't tell if I liked it or fucking hated it. Both a fucking awful experience and a absolutely great one. People give Gone Home and other walking simulators shit, they haven't seen this shit.
The thing is that I only experienced a handful of games that had the same narrative brilliance that Pathologic and The Void have. So while I'm aware their shortcomings I can't help but feel awe when I play them. The fact that IPL as a team almost knew nothing of game design and game development prior Pathologic is just staggering really.
