I was once a "pro." No one cares to this day. If I had spent that time learning an instrument I'd have something to show for it, or had I gotten into powerlifting sooner... If anything being good at video games alienated me from a lot of social experiences since no one wanted me around to ruin their gaming session. Imagine having a friend that was just unbeatable at every video game you tried your hardest at? That's what normies feel.
Single player games MIGHT have a decent story to them or life lessons, whatever. But you can just YOUTUBE them while you work out. I pretty much youtube'd all the recent Final Fantasy games, Persona games, etc while doing gym work and I can socialize with others about the games as if I had played them. If I did play them I'd just read a guide and min-max them. It can be frustrating if you're actually good at video games and the youtuber you're watching sucks. (Super Best Friends comes to mind at how bad they are, sans Pat and Liam, or Woolie @ fighters but even then he's mid-tier at best.)
I have witnessed COUNTLESS guilds in MMO's be torn apart by women. How many Overwatch matches have you had with girls on your team that just cannot play? 99% of the time they are joined with their orbiters who will willingly play badly to make them feel good or spend the entire match catering to their needs. There's countless articles that state how women cannot multitask, or do tasks as well as men. There is a reason women and men are separate in sports. I could go on but you get the point.
