It always looked silly to me how Trish holds Sparda on the back of her tiny crop top.
>he doesn't place magnets on the inside of his coat
Exactly. Its like 2019 you would think they would have figured the floating weapons issue out
style>realism, especially in glorious nippon geimu
Demon energy, why do you think Lady is the only person who uses a strap?
>putting realism in a DMC game
>slowing down the action even more so Nero can strap his sword awkwardly back onto his back
>Dante carries around a large suit case he has to constantly place on the ground and open to switch between weapons during combos taking 1-2 minutes to undo the latches and equip the gear each time
realismfags pls go and stay go
What's worse is that they got it right with RE2 for the back mounted weapons. Only one at a time though; the others must have been stuffed down Leon's trouser leg.
Hovering swords on the back just dont make sense. If you want no realism, at least do it right. Nero's sword could insta-appear like Dante's weaponry. Watching Nero's sword at this state, it feels like a programmer's mistake
Being bothered by floating back weapons but being okay with insta appearing weapons is just autism at that point. Both don't make any sense, one you just have a very specific pet peeve for. It's one of those things people have been moaning about for such a long time that it's become an accepted and common complaint to ape to fit in.
>putting realism in a DMC game
That's why they made their faces so realistic and uncanny. And the devs were proud of how realistic the graphics are in literally every pre-release interview.
>slowing down the action even more
They already increased the startup and recovery frame of every attack animation in the game. It's very noticeably slower than DMC3 and 4. They even took out rg cancel and inertia.
>combos take 1-2 minutes
Kek, combos in DMC5 are all short compared to the insane ones from 4.
>realismfags pls go
So you want the DMC5 devs to go? Okay.
Pretty sure facescan is only used to make easier good looking (supposedly) faces and facial animations. The point of it is not realism. And either way, graphics being 'realistic' have nothing to do with gameplay being realistic.
>Ista appearing weapons=manifestation of some sort of demon power the character has
>floating weapons=not a real manifestation of power or any specific explanation
>if its "magnets" at least mention it into the game's context for validation
Clearly someone from the dev dept forgot to fix/complete that shit and we "just accepted" it because it exists as a design limitation in the previous games. There is no excuse for floating weapons in 2019
dmc v is more about the story, not zip zapping around in midair like a fucking autist doing 5 hour combos
You're making up the demon power excuse for the insta appearing weapons and can do the same thing for the floating weapons. There is no reason you can't other than you have a weird pet peeve.

Honestly I don't care if the game is slower or have less combos. This makes the game more accessible for a wider audience and most people don't even actually do long combos in their playthroughs. Modded Devil May Cry 3's combos were just wild anime shit. Same goes for 4.
If you know a bit of game developing, you will understand what I mean. Also Nero devil breakers are insta appear with a small thuderbolt effect. Explain why cant Neros sword appear like that
So you can see his sword on his back when he's not using it. It's really not important.
These combos are entry level garbage unfit for a combo video let alone a MAD
Its important. This flaw to an overall good game keeps me up at night. Needless to say I havent bought it yet because I expect a fix for that hovering sword issue
And who cares?
Clearly I do. And that fact alone ruins the whole aesthetic of the game. DMC comeback my ass
Nero uses secret Order magic to keep his sword there. Alternatively, it's Nico magnets.
They had time to add hints that sweet surrender might be used as a vibrator for nico but forgot to add any hint for the hovering weapons. GG Capcom
I thought I was the only one that felt the slowness of the attacks. Maybe it's just because I was replaying 4 right before I installed 5 but this is kinda disappointing.
