Which Halo has the best multiplayer ?

I don't know which hit registration in which game in the MCC is worse. If we're talking back in the day, Halo 2 was definitely the most competitive. Getting a 30 in H2 was the equivalent to a 50 in H3.
In my opinion, out of the 3 original games, Halo 3 was the funnest and funniest, although is was the least skill based. it was balanced for causal players as well which is why think that's the reason people think it's the best Halo. Had so many memories in BTB and custom games.

its funny you say that, everytime i play MCC i always find games of Halo 3 quicker then i do CE or 2, though to be fair its relatively fast in the match composer in general.

I remember this little kid screaming at me in messages because I kept killing him yet he was using an AR and I had my pistol out unless i had a shotgun.

Reach is shit

2 had the best community. I miss playing Zombies, Michael Jackson's House, and crazy shit like shotguns only and active camo on the swamp dlc map. Also spent dozens of hours trying to get outside the maps. 3 was good because Forge brought more creativity but it wasn't the same.

Halo CE easily steals the other game's thunder in isolated encounters. It's the least rigid and allows for all kinds of ridiculous things to happen.

I'll admit I had way more fun with H3, but H2 was more competitive.

Let's say we start mixing all the Halo games together to make the one perfect Halo game on PC. What good sides of each Halo game should be incorporated and what bad sides should be excluded or changed for the better?

Because they cranked the sticky aim dial to eleven and it let even your friends little brother with palsy play. I didn't enjoy how easy it was
compared to CE. No matter how good you were
in CE it just wasn't possible to rambo entire teams unless they were shit, especially after MLG rulesets were changed for pistol start.

Im not saying that Reach is the best, but 343 garbage, particularly Halo 4 is a lot worse by a large margin.

But only for custom games, I never played outside of that.
