The dmr was a godly weapon for headshots. The battle was annoying to use.

i’ve heard people say that every weapon is viable in Halo but from my experiences in multiplayer it’s either the Battle Rifle/DMR and Power Weapons or bust, everything else minus the Needler is dubiously useful

in halo 3 you could burst fire it to get much higher accuracy, halo 1 assault rifle is just a damage cone that gets projected in front your your model when you shoot it

The Halo 3 plasma rifle was OP when it came to beatdowns.
You could literally send people flying across the map with that thing.

it depends on map, really
despite being console kiddie shootan, halo had surprisingly good weapon balance, the combination of a shield and health bar and different weapons reacting differently to each was really good design

I would say the only really bad weapon was the needler in later games, and the sword if your opponents weren't retarded

By the time you get in melee range the mag is empty, and Im already in melee range. By the time you hit X Im already hitting you.

bxr is almost instant if done properly, you just need to be in melee range, if they don't fix the netcode then if I'm host I can lunge from 5 yards away
