This, people say it’s generic, but whatever man, I’m having trouble finding true open world games where you kill 200+ zombie hordes in a serious, not joke-y, environment.

Zombie games that feature hordes are usually action titles created for arcade-style replayability (left 4 dead) or have small playable areas (Dead Rising).
