Hey, a lot of updates are innovating gameplay options. Cryopods (basically Pokeballs) producing multiple options for taking tames to caves; other items, and even creatures, that are newer effecting a fresh meta and roleplaying; and more and simpler ways of getting really great resources, items, and blueprints – it's actually really interesting.
A few specific inquiries (but chat about what your interests are) … >Specs of character stats for caves; >Easiest / most efficient caves for blueprints / items; >Interesting strategies for specific tames therein;
>Your creature picks for farming eggs from each of the newly-redesigned kibble levels.
>playing on Conquest's servers (official 2x; small tribes; zero alliances) >some players are obviously really aggressive about raiding simple bases >this server now is quite ordinary – but that's plausibly because the player counts for the gamemode are mediocre right now It seems odd to me that the criticism is coming up a lot still on "cheats and exploits". Moreso, it seems preventable by strategic basing, etc.
Yet, 2x rates are great. As of posting this, I'm on SP practicing summoning and taming the Ice Titan.
I farmed some 5000 metal with 2 Argys for carrying some of it and the Anky gatherer, in some 20 mins. with traveling and loading. CP is 1200 - 1700 in 10 - 15 mins. Crystal on Ext is some 1000 every few minutes (an Argy, and a Doed on light poles), with the bonuses of Element Dust, metal, and electronics.
Of interest is making a new, for the character creator, and speedrunning. It's a mystery still how it's possible saving a character and having another.
>It seems odd to me that the criticism is coming up a lot still on "cheats and exploits". Moreso, it seems preventable by strategic basing, etc. When people can go under the map and under the meshes it does not matter where you place your base, and in general pvp is a spamfest, the meta is garbage.

you've made this thread multiple times daily for the last few weeks fuck off shill and that UI is the most disgusting and lazy thing I have seen in my life, the entire game just looks like default assets thrown together

Ark was unironically more fun in mid-2015 before they added all the ridiculous dinosaurs and tech, without fixing the cumbersome UI and movement/gunplay.
No, you're right. The higher the devs pushed the shitty tech game the worse the top end felt.
But the real bane of this games developmental life was the climbing pick. Revolutionized under-meshing and the devs can't/won't fix their shitty map design to fight it.

Posting on Yea Forums during my free time is part of my life which is sad I know, maybe one day I'll have a job like yours so I can do it during work hours.

I can't really, I think you might be right. Newer dinos that have way too much power and utility, too high tech stuff really made the game suffer. The feel of medieval to early gunpowder stuff has a very different kind of immersion, stuff you could plausible as a modern person get up to while taming a primitive land. But the lore with all the high tech stuff really sucks that out of it. Having dinos with laser guns on them is cool sure, but not in that context, that stuff should've been seperated to a different map, and not something you could just bring back over.
I'd have fun with it today, if I got a private server running with my friends, but the new stuff isn't really what would be interesting.

The problem with them being in meshes away from your basing being …
> PS: The UI is OK. A better option for the inventory is having re-sorting buttons (e.g., for the unsorted category, similar to how Terraria has an organizing option), and having categories' asc/desc being persistent and better-choosable (e.g., separate arrows).
There are gamemodes for that.
Vanilla now is more of a "getting online and having some fun", with many options amongst basic equipment, or tek, and (thereof) varying qualities.
There are stark contrasts between actually enjoying gameplay depth:variety and having a real-cash paid advertising job (unto posting on Yea Forums).

>PS: The new DLC is happening right now. Vanilla has a pricing-reduction to $20, and it's having a F2P week. So, Yea Forums, come play dank-economy, multiple-roles, character-and-world-building fun together. God, I'm awesome.
No. That just reeks of desperation. Trying to appeal to multiple crowds makes your game shit. You should have focused on the survival aspect of your game but no, you had to add all the cheesy scifi elements. Marketing isn't allowed here. Fuck off, shill.
