Anyway, Sonic Heroes is a good game, and even though the anime is so bad it's good, the characters are likable and consistent enough with the games that I like to think of it as canon.

I mean, I enjoyed it. Sure it doesn't have the best story, but it's a Sonic game. They've always been primarily about the speed aspect, with elements of platforming as well. I also like the concept of being able to pick different teams, each of whom has their own mini-plot, and I would be lying if I said that all the major Sonic characters are playable isn't appealing to me.
Like I said, it's not a Shakespeare play, but it's good for what it is.
