my dad plays football simulator and thats about it.
My mom has been playing Splatoon 2. Don't think my dad plays anything other than mobile stuff anymore.
>When is the last time you've told either of your parents that you love them?
I spoke to both of them yesterday. You're not some kind of cretin that doesn't keep in touch with their parents, are you?
My dad asks when I'm going to grow up and my mom killed herself last year.
My mom plays simulators like zoo tycoon and Railroad tycoon. I'm trying to get he to like planet coaster.
I talked to my mom over the phone a few days ago, but we regularly keep in touch via email. She likes playing AssCreed and Splatoon 1 on my old Wii U I sent her .
I haven't spoken to my dad in nearly 5 years now, fuck 'em.
WOKE UP LATE THIS MORNING
I used to play DOOM and half life death matches with my late father, as well as Zelda on the N64.
They did.
My dad played a lot of sports games/shooters.
Mom loves Tetris to death.
>When is the last time you've told either of your parents that you love them?
Mom last week.
Dad on his death bed (lost his battle with cancer)
My dad plays ported arcade games and owns a cabinet of Joust; he doesn’t play any current games. My mom can’t into technology so she only uses the old PS3 to watch Amazon Prime. I just stayed home for a couple of days and regularly keep in contact with them.
I don't think I ever did. Just never came to mind to say it.
And no my parents don't play vidya.
Nope
Nope
I want to be married to Shin-chan's mom
>Do your parent play vidya Yea Forums?
No.
>When is the last time you've told either of your parents that you love them?
I don't remember. I don't love them.
my mom sells her body for drugs on craigslist.
But she had an Atari once I guess.
I would 100% dick the mom
why is it so hard to find shin chan in japanese with eng subs?
its a kids show, kids dont read.
no, they are not that sort of degenerates
sometime before i lost that sense of familial connection during my rather abusive childhood, so around 25 years ago
Absolutely not, but my old man did play Atari 2600 games with me back in the day.
>Talking to parents over the spring break
>Dad goes "Oh yeah, I played Missile Command all the time when I was younger"
>Downloads emulator solely for missile command
>"It's okay user, I haven't played it since I was in my teenage years"
Mom plays mobile majong, Dad plays crossword puzzles
I've only seen the Funi dub on Adult Swim, what's the show actually about? Is it good?
My mom doesn't play vidya.
I have hard time talking to her because she thinks literally all my interests are a waste of time and calls me a waste of space often.
it's about a 5 year old boy being a pain in the ass and lusting after mature women
>I have hard time talking to her because she thinks literally all my interests are a waste of time and calls me a waste of space often.
Why do you even try to talk to her at all if that's what she thinks of you?
My parents only played Tetris and Game & Watch Gallery 1/2 on my GameBoy when I was a kid, so I guess yes? Comfy times anyway, they did 999 on each fucking classic minigame
yeah misae is unironically the hottest woman in anime
My daughter and I play splatoon a lot together. The last splatfest was so much fun!
I came home once to find my mom in my room playing Sonic the Hedgehog on my PS2
My dad used to beat the mine cart levels for me in donkey Kong country. I haven’t seen or spoken to him in 11 years. My mom is a dumb pot head who just cost me $1200 in student aid from 2011 because evidently she neglected to sign a single piece of paper work. I talk to her maybe once a month
>5 yo nephew starting to get into vidya
How do I steer him away from the dark side, bros? I want him to play sports and smash puss, not end up like me and shitposting with you assrammers.
My dad was pretty much the one who got me into video games. He likes RPGs and air/space combat sims - Wing Commander was the big series at our house for a long time.
She's a hard working woman and I respect her for raising a failure like myself.
My dad got me into playing vidya when I was 7 with EverQuest when it came out. I'd play on his computer before he got home, then watch him play when he did get home. Eventually he let me play on his old computer that he gave my mom, as she never had an interest in using computers until only this year, and bought an EQ account for me too. Thinking back on it now, I'm surprisedwe had the internet to handle that. But throughout the years, we've played almost every MMO under the sun together: City of Heroes, World of Warcraft, Archeage. We're currently playing Mech Warrior Online. He got physically injured early on in life, so could only be so active, so it's how we naturally ended up most of our time. Its been an almost surreal experience as I've gotten older, seeing my reflexes and ability surpass his from a marginal level to distinct differences. Makes me wonder how much longer my pops and I will be able to spend time together like this, be it when I finally settle down and have a kid or when he simply gets too old to keep up with the rate that games keep upping their minimum threshold of reflex necessity. Regardless, even as a young adult, I'm proud to have such an awesome family in my life. I look forward to bringing just as much happiness to my own family some day.
>Joust
My man. My pops and I play it sometimes on my MAME cab. Good stuff, dude.
My father absolutely loves cRPGs, my mother likes mobile shit, pokemon go has her hooked
Also I told them I loved them probably last week
If that's your perception I'd advise you to stay the hell away from him because you'd just come off as a jaded old man who hates everything.
Like the dad that just wants an athlete because he couldn't cut it.
Mum doesn't. she never understood it.
Dad introduced me to vidya when I was a kid. Bought us a PS1 with Spyro, Crash, GT, and Tekken. Was amazing. Used to ask if "we" could play, and the first time I died in Spyro, I was content just watching him play. Some of my most treasured memories.
He plays world of tanks now with a group of guys his age, and he's having tons of fun, and he hasn't spent a cent on it yet. He was incredibly excited when my brother and I showed him the Spyro/Crash remakes, he's been loving those.
eh videogames aren't a niche thing anymore he'll be fine. If you're concerned steer him towards normie stuff like overwatch and whatever they sell keychains and shirts of at gamestop
No.
Never. I was a latch key kid and was basically just a roommate. I don't recall the last time they told me they love me, it had to have been when I was a kid and got in trouble for something and they did that "we are your parents and we love you" bit.
Is she hot? Or at least single?
It honestly blows my mind how popular Pokemon Go is with the older audience. Here, we've a gaggle of old women in their 70's who all play together and they're genuinely high tier because they're retired and do nothing but play it. If it's any credit to them, they're as sharp as they were when they were my age.
Will you buy me a shotgun, Dad?
What are some of his favorite cRPGs, user?
Mom and I played hamburger time on the Atari once.
You should show him Freespace 2 if he doesn't already know about it. The Wing Commander Saga mod doesn't even require FS2 itself, and it's free.
My dad really likes harry potter chamber of secrets on pc for some reason
My mom has never played a vidya outside of mobile games
Cant remember the last time but it was never really something we said to each other anyway
My dad use to play games, Diablo 1 & 2 were games he enjoyed commonly, he also played the original doom and whatnot.
Only games I've seen my dad play are Onimusha, Guitar Hero, and Street Fighter, the only games my mom would play nowadays are games on the NES Classic I gave her.
Well you can't win'em all
I thought that wasn't legal? How does one get in contact with listings like that?
No they don't.
Yesterday.
My dead mom used to love Pacman and my Dad loves classic horror games. I used to watch him play through Silent Hill and even helped with the puzzles sometimes when I was a kid.
He's got that one as well. He has quite the collection, though finding workarounds to make the older ones run smoothly on modern PCs can be a bit of a struggle.
My dad used to play computer games all the time, but then he became a woman and stopped. My mom doesn't play any.
>He's got that one as well.
Does he have the open-source version? Just want to make sure everyone who plays FS2 gets the most out of it.
Planescape: Torment is his absolute favourite, but he also really likes Arcanum, KotOR1&2 and the nwn expansions, he likes MotB especially because he always said it reminded him of Planescape: Torment
My mom mostly uses it so she can have something to do while she goes on her walks, I'm guessing that's why so many older people started playing it as well
My dad only plays Space Invaders and Break out, my mom liked Mario Kart Wii when it was new
>Do your parent play vidya Yea Forums?
My Dad used to play a lot of games in the arcades as a kid, then on his PS1 and PS2 when I was little, but now he just plays Madden online. Hilariously, he has an even W-L ratio right now even though he just got into his 50s, dunno if people just suck that bad in online Madden or if my Dad is still good at it.
My Mom occasionally messed with some arcade stuff but was never a gamer, completely stopped messing with anything gaming related when I was born. But she did beat Crash Bandicoot while she was pregnant with me, and I still have no goddamn clue how she did it considering how bad she is at any game I have her try.
I'll never beat Crash Bandioot because even when my parents are gone, I want there to be one gaming achievement that they've done and I haven't.
>When is the last time you've told either of your parents that you love them?
I still live with them, so I just told them that right now.
>Misae is 29
>She's portrayed as a lazy stay at home mom
>I'm older than Misae
>Still single jumping from shit job to shittier job
>My life is worse than a Crayon Shin-chan character's
Fuck you OP
My dad used to.
They don’t like me. I try really hard but they don’t seem to care until I fail. They’re very narcissistic assholes but I still feel oddly attached to them. I’m fucked desu
anyone got those mom and son star wars comics?
My father and I used to play NES/SNES games when I was a kid, then he just stopped playing.
My mother is in love with the Animal Crossing series, she played them all, now she's playing Stardew Valley on her phone
And it's been a long time since I last told them, I love them, no doubt about that, it's just that I can bring myself to say it out loud. Pretty weird
They don't have a bad life though Hiroshi works one job and supports a fucking newborn, a 5 year old, a dog, and his stay at home wife. They live in a two story home with 3 bedrooms, a huge living room, a huge kitchen, and a big backyard.
Not sure. I'll ask about it next time I talk to him.
mom plays racing sims and euro truck simulator
dad used to play milsims and now call of duty every year every day
Don't shun him over playing games but instead let him have a beer with the boys when he'sa few years older, make him feel comfortable with social situations, talk to his parents, whatever. Also give him good tips on how to treat women, i get the feeling that a lot of men these days don't quite grow up with these values, hell i've never really hung with girls so when i hit 18 i had to completely rewire myself into their situation.
Your degradation fetish isn't healthy user
Yeah, he's really missing out if he doesn't have it. If he doesn't have it, send him this link. It's a new installer for FSO and a lot of popular mods:
with a 32 year mortgage
force him to play Anthem
Ah, thank you! I'll be certain to show it to him. Even if he does, he might enjoy trying some of the mods.
When I was a young boy, My Father took me into the city, To see a marching band. He said, "Son when, you grow up, Would you be the savior of the broken, The beaten and the damned?" He said, "Will you defeat them, Your demons and all the non-believers, The plans that they have made? "Because one day, I leave you, A phantom to lead you in the summer, To join the black parade.
MISAE IS FLAT!
>Hiroshi probably wishes ror the visit of the isekai truck everyday
But she's got a big ass
SAY HEY
F
Shin-chan is pure kino.
Especially that movie where all adults are mind controlled and his dad gets flashback from his youth and his own father
Tried to influence mom into playing vidya games, but she fell out of it after she broke up with her ex for playing too much CoD
Never. Because they were born like 20 years before GenX.
Played with my sisters though.
Told them like two or three weeks ago.
I miss Shin Chan.
my dad plays osrs, civ 3, and assorted turn based strategy games based on WWII
youtube.com
That's from "The Adult Empire Strikes Back" movie
good stuff.
My dad used to play vidya, then he traded vidya for alcoholism and tore our family apart
Based Shinosuke
Why is their younger children blond?
NTR by a gaijin is the only explanation.
Dad plays Ratchet & Clank 1 on ps3.
He hasn't bothered to play the other ones.
She's got brown hair
Genetic recombination?
My father fits the boomer meme perfectly, all he plays is Diablo 2 and HL2:DM daily.
I used to play with him back then but not anymore, we just go fishing together every summer.
I'm not much into family stuff, it's a lucky day if i ever answer the phone.
My dad is a huge gamer. He played/plays half life, Halo, marathon, Destiny 1/2, Minecraft, CoD, etc. He introduced me to gaming. I haven't seen him in a while though. Not after my parents got divorced.
>GTA Vice City
My mom did some very light cruising in a car after coming to see why I was listening to her kind of music.
You should feel bad for posting that soulless fan art of Shin-chan.
They're both the reason I got into vidya in the first place, they gave me their own SNES when I was little and shoved plenty of games in my face. Lion King, Aladdin, Jurassic Park, DKC, etc.
Right now my dad is eternally locked on PS3 but has recently mentioned an interest in getting a PS4. He mostly plays Lost Planet 1 and a collection of Splinter Cell games exclusively on repeat. When I was younger, he and I played through Halo 1 and 2 together.
My mom got the first season of Telltale's Walking Dead. Never even finished the first episode because she claimed the controls were too hard to understand. She mostly plays phone games
And told them just yesterday.
>Hiro is a hairlet in the future
>So is Hiro's dad
Shin better watch out
That's pretty typical at least here in burgerland
My parent's don't play any video games. They also know I just do it to cope with my shitty existence so I doubt they would want much part in it.
My mom will play games on her phone, but my dad only gamed in the 70's.
My dad was in a competitive halo clan.
