He's a pubstomper. Once people learn to counter him (walking away) then he needs to be paired up with one or two teammates that can stun/disable for a while - the moment the enemy moves out of his attack, his bonus damage is gone.

What exactly are you doing that makes you think you're bad?

That's not helpful, like at all.
"stunned to death" doesn't help explain what the fuck you're doing wrong, user.
There are melee ranged stuns, close range, mid, long, etc.
Are you getting ganked? Are you trying to gank and get counter ganked? Are you dying first in teamfights? Do you try to 1v2 or 1v3 in lanes? Are you dying early on or mid game?

as soon as blink is ready just team up with any lane and blink behind enemy, slam the ground and make 4 hits in one second and boom

It has to do with teams seeing me and blowing all their stuns and focusing me down.
keeping people in range to do damage is harder than it looks.
And I keep being pushed out of lane early on cuz ranged hero keeps me away from creeps

Do you have experience with any other heroes? If yes, who do you play well with?
If no, Ursa is really not a newb friendly hero.

user, you're playing as a carry - you will be focused on. Either get someone who'll be a babysitter or else accept some games you'll be fucked.

I normally like playing Axe techies and Sniper.

I decided to give ursa a try cuz of his burst potential. And I'm usually playing as a carry

More guaranteed DPS than most any other hero in the game.
Pretty much just a carry that snowballs in teamfights once a stun is done

Says everyone ever, until they realize nobody buys sentries to check for Ursa and solely for de-warding so then I end up with fat stacks of kills and insta-melt virtually anything that isn't a Pudge or an Axe.

Creates a movespeed differential. Considering ursa's range it's not a joke item. Early phase boots on ursa is also terrifying in lane.

It's good on pretty much any melee hero who needs to keep up with their opponents to hurt them early on. 12% speed reduction is no joke.

How do I get into this game, everything feels sluggish and slow, if I play the game enough will these feelings fade? I like the movement in league as it's more free but I do love the items in DotA 2 more. I like jg and carry but the games clunkiness at times really is off-putting

The game starts off slow, but once you level and buy boots the game moves quick.

I am a dota player myself and I fucking hated leagues ugly art style and no turn rates on heroes, every hero feels the same
