>Spawns two at the same time
Heh, nothing personal kid...
How the fuck can an enemy be harder than any of the bosses?

How the fuck can an enemy be harder than any of the bosses?
these guys are a cake walk but you can just use your Unga bunga broken build shit.
>*Blusters you so you do less damage and it takes even longer to kill it*
nice that they stuck with the lore saying they're smart fuckers
One on their own is fine but when two spawn they seem to go nuts and fuck everything up.
They take way too long to kill and do they have super armor too? Are they weak to any elements?
oh man they fucked me up too really badly in early stages of the game.
I wish i remembered how i dealt with them later, but probably just dashing, they have openings
not weak but they can be all the elements aside from Wind work on them, I usually poison buffed up ones
you can also bait them into doing endless 360 spin attacks if you constantly stay behind them
You pretty much hit them once or twice, avoid their move then repeat.
this game was fun at first, but the whole calculating the timing of all these enemy attacks, memorizing their attack sequences, finding the only windows open to an attack, it all became so fucking lame.
like it no longer became a fun samurai/action game and became this hyper attentive game of pong or dodge.
i made the mistake of praising this game too early....its actually fucking irritating.
anyways, these ravens have 2 windows for attack. one window is for one hit, the other window is for up to 3 hits depending on the weapon.
once you figure those windows out, you can spot other miscellaneous windows/openings they have. but you have 1: memorize those two fundamental windows, then you have activate those twitch reflexes to get away with punishing pokes. when it all comes together you can attack effectively to drain the ki.
i wasn't nearly interested enough to pay attention to the inherent weapon stats, so im sure that plays a roll. i never paid too much attention to that shit though. i just focused on being efficient in the combat.
full light armor run all the way to and through the two kings....probably won't touch this game for another year though. not even remotely interested in nioh 2.
Guess I'll ask in here, I'm trying to get the samurai of legend trophy but it won't pop, I need one more twilight mission (completion is sitting at 88.8%) but my mission rate is at 98.8%, will the twilight mission bring it to 100%?
Is there a way to force twilight missions to reset because waiting a whole day hoping the one I need appears is fucking stupid.
if you were tired of waiting to punish, you could have just switched to heavy armor and facerolled mostly everything
shit my bad, you probably already know that shit...
to fight two of them.....just have to be hyper aware, get it stuck in your head to only attack once....meaning go in for single dash/slice or spear poke or whatever...just a single hit, pay attention to the nearest guy while keeping the second raven, close to mind but second to mind.
when you realize the second isn't too near/in cool down....you can pick apart first with, a little more punishment. key word little. its completely situational obviously. but just keep an eye out for rare punish opportuniteis.
also, single heavy slashes are worth learning. meaning switch to heavy stance, single heavy slash, and back out. adding this to your skill set dramatically increases your efficiency in depleting enemy ki. it will also get you fucking legit with insta-stance switches.
fun thing to learn early in game, but later in game shit got too cheesey for me personally...i had to play fundamentals late in the game. i honestly think that was because i just lost interest and was only playing out of spite at that point.
i got used to light armor because early to mid game it allowed me to punish the ever loving shit out of everything while playing the game aesthetically.
i don't tank up in these games, shits too cheesey for me.
yes you need to do twilight missions. they're on rotation so enjoy your new daily :D
>discovering flowing shadow
Fucking great, I've been waiting for four days now for the stupid fucking mission to drop. I'll just have to check back tomorrow again.
>casts sloth* nothing personal little chicken
>flowing shadow
careful with it, you can still get hit/take damage mid-attack.
unless you're talking about using it with items or magic, then i have no clue about any of that shit.
that's the one
wrong site my friend.
Wtf is up with these bullshit debuffs in the abyss?
>kid
That is your problem, you need to start being a MAN.
aren't you meant to get rid of those?
what is it with youngfags and utilizing this reddit meme in the most random situations now? i literally have no clue what meta you're using behind this post. what lead you to it. how deep within and lost you are in some strange judgement that my post should be on reddit....
>those tengu's on those narrow pathways in that mountain stage
fucks sake
How? It's my first time being there.
co-op'd this area today, both host and i sloth talismaned then spammed shuriken lel
>sloth talisman, weakness talisman, odachi
I am become death, the raper of this game
Worst enemy. I hate that they don't react to anything, so fucking boring.
Second worst are wheels. Third worst are the flying head faggots.
>no carnage
more like faggot.
>sloth talisman
thing breaks the game in half but still feels necessary to get because some stuff is really bullshit without it
>those 2 forced teammates get in the way 80 percent of the time and obscure the enemy attacks
>or they take all the glory and finish him off
>decide to block because an evasive move will throw you off the ledge
>you block it, but the attack was still strong enough to knock you off the ledge
>one out of 4 sometimes up to 5 attempts you get to defeat him personally
i hate myself for ever giving praise to this game, it's not meant to played for the execution of a perfect plan or correct decision making...you're literally waiting for the programming to give you the right circumstances at the most extreme level.
its' fucking stupid. i never wasted more of my time. even rethinking all of it, makes me hope no one even buys nioh 2
shame that originated on Yea Forums, which predates reddit my young zoomer friend. Don't bother replying, btw, when you fall for this meme you out yourself as being a zoomer, its okay, many such cases as yourself.
Wheels are fine, low stance, dash behind them as they spit fire, hit the gold side of the face, knock them on their ass, high stance for 3 hits then low stance, dodge, repeat.
The flying heads are annoying because you never know if they are going to constantly headbutt you or just come close to you.
I just beat the frog boss and I'm not sure I want to break the game any harder. I also don't know how much is left. I'll look into it though.
>using sloth
Weak and wayofthefagpilled
Every Abyss floor has the main area, a boss room and 4 boats, you can go to the boss immdietly, but if you want to get rid of debuffs you gotta ride the boats and complete a sub-area.
Irrc once you’ve cleansed a buff it’s gone for that entire Abyss session, so not every floor will give you 4 new debuffs,
I want to fuck one
Actually typing like that is more likely a symptom of phone-posting, because on a small vertically orientated screen, even small sentences become paragraph shaped. So it’s natural to make a line seperation, but it looks dumb on PC where it ends up being only 1-2 lines before a gap.
The above “paragraph” is 8 lines on my screen right now. So the urge to make a new paragraph is very strong. It’s probsbly 2 lines on pc though.
>still doesn't know reddit spacing was a meme created by some youngfag who was trying super hard to look cool on this shitty anime website
prior to this websites emergence of tryhards, people have been spacing the context of their posts since 2007. its still funny to think of all the insecure lil guys that are scared to hit their enter key though.
humanized or not humanized?
literally every single revenant on PC is some heavy armor wearing scrub. Especially the Warrior of the West set. Probably using odachi or dual swords. Fuck off noobs I want to get drops of some real sets
Obviously not humanized, what kind of plebian do you take me for?
Is that supposed to be one of them in your picture? Looks like a gooky elf. I want to fuck a demonic raven not some jap elf with an origami hat.
God forbid you encounter more than one wheel at the time tho’
>discovered sloth when I finished all the game already
Wtf. They will probably nerf it to the ground in 2 if you can even use it.
>this nigga doesn't recognize the greatest tengu
I'm way too old for this site.
I'm not here for your chinese look alike cartoon hoes
Remember when moot used to space this way a decade ago? I guess he was just reddit spacing!
>not double-spacing for improved legibility by default
did you just never go to school or something?
It's about being a weeb, guy goes to Japan to find his waifu
I'd like this game more if it wasn't Diablo like loot bullshit
And yet you're in Nioh thread dude.
Pretty much the only worthwhile enemy in this braindead game.
The loot is killing it for me, I haven't had a good drop in so fucking long and I've been farming revenants, bosses and running Marobashi.
what about these guys
Wtf is that thing
those huge tongue yokai
I thought they were hard on my first encounter too. But then I realized they only have like three attacks, and their AI patterns area easily exploitable and predictable.
Nioh had issues with enemy variety almost as bad as BB had with every other aspect of the game.
I think it's more that they are just boring to fight.
Run a spirit build and pop your guardian every time these guys appear.
OP literally said they're too hard.
if you think they are harder than bosses you have not met enough bosses yet.
So are we all in agreement that axe/hammers have the absolutely WORST living weapon moveset?
>fighting yuki-onna
seriously, that bitch was the hardest boss in the game for me, made all dark souls/bloodborne bosses look like bitches
I am OP, one is easy enough but boring and two are a pain in the ass.
I've beat all the main game bosses and two kings and that other two bosses fight, I can't remember the name of it, the one with Oda and the ice woman. I'd take any boss over two Tengus.
they're easy once you realise you can block their tongue attacks
post game nioh is so trash in retrospect. i fucking love the game but it encourages too much to cheese shit. otherwise it just feels like you're gimping yourself.
You could keep doing random encounter summons and hope that someone is still stuck in 5he one stage you need to complete. Sometimes people leave the game in a twilight mission and dont return until a couple days later and need summons. Itll still be hard to find though.
You have to fight her later as well as fight Nobunaga at the same time
Can you choose twilight missions when trying to help people?
Well, then you should know by now that OP is a fag.
Literally this.
This game is the most bittersweet experience i had in gaming i hate alot about the game and love alot of aspectof it , i think was my autism or ego that led me to platinum this game but my friend told is an alternative to souls games franchise that i love but al the rage and frustation i had with the soul saga was at least 50 times worse in nioh as much i like a lot of the game is really really fucking frustating wish honestly they make a little easier the 2nd one or at least polish or change some things like add a base amount of healing potions , dont automatically lose your guardian spirt with each death im okay with losing amrita but not the GS too and losing all the amrita if you reclaim the pet
the bosses in this game are either ultra easy or fuking tedious/hard at least to me i beat yukki ona after 2 tries but died more than 60 times to okatsu or umi bozu
I believe you can only choose a twilight mission if it is in rotation at that time. So random encounters with no conditions would be your best bet.
Fuck those missions, I just want to get it finished so I can get the plat and uninstall it.
These things can hit you?
I think Team Ninja intentionally put that huge spike in NG+++ and upper Abyss just to bust peoples' balls as tradition and so you wouldn't feel too bad about cheesing
even Jin tells you you'll lose if you play clean
Isn’t there a side mission with one of these Bird things and Nue at the same time?
Yeah "Tea time entertainment" You kill the first one and then when you get Nue down to 1/4 health then another Tengu spawns.
BB is superior to Nioh in every way.
>superior
>stuck on console
better luck next time
Nioh was fun, but deeply flawed. BB is a masterpiece even on underpowered laptop hardware from 2010. You will try to prove me wrong, but you won't be able to.
>walk backwards
>throw shurikens/kunai/bombs or use spear
EZ
user, the entire game is basically "cheese one another". Early on you have fuck all abilities really. The AI is fair and plays on the same level. Then you start getting harder enemies. Tachibana is a prime example - you either cheese him early or cheese him later but you're still cheesing him. Because he cheese you with hyer armor and almost infinite ki due to having 30% time of normal when out of ki
But if you want to fight them "properly" then you'll get your ass rammed harder than boy george at a dance show
I'm not denying BB is a good game, I just saying that it cannot be superior to Nioh since it is still stuck on bad hardware which negatively impacts the experience in a way Nioh is not subject to on proper hardware (PC). Nioh embraced PC and is better off for it while BB is forever shackled to its underpowered, bargain bin hardware.
