How many features will be reduced in Elder Scrolls VI?

I'm betting there's three elemental spells, and they'll sell it as "you can combine them and experiment durr hurr."
Only one handed weapons
and the leveling system will have three or four categories like in Fable.

beast races are cut as playable characters

there's going to be a literal path trail on the terrain that shows you where you need to go at all times

The cities will be even smaller., so settelments with cca. 5-7 people

Yea, I can see them doing that.

how big should a cirty be in a game to be considered "realistic"? how many houses/buildings should it have?

It has main character voice acting by shitty voice actors
Skills and Perks are just LMAO RANDUMMMMM just like in Fallout 4.
Minecraft building.
Dragons are back in any form from Skyrim and the files will literally say TESV_Dragon
All the fucking legacy bugs
Combat is even more shallow than ever before
Only 2h and 1h weapons exist no Maces or Axes, or Daggers etc...
Magic is just fireball and ice ball or something it doesnt even have scrolls or summons anymore or necromancy
All the guild and clan quests are literally YOU ARE CHOSEN ONE AND YOU MUST BE PART OF EVERY SINGLE GUILD AND CLAN TO PROGRESS STORY
Dungeons are as linear as in Fallout 4.
You only have one armor type which is Armor.

But most the most important change is that NO MOD SUPPORT and CREATION CLUB overpriced p2w bullshit.

Picture Boston in FO4
That's a single TOWN
you get the picture

I mean whiterun was supossed to have apporximately 150 000 - 300 000 people according to people discussing lore. and in game it had like 15 useful people maybe.

I would raather they make at least 1500 house and aobut 2000 npcs even if you cant interact with them. after all half the npcs in skyrim which can be interacted with, only thing you can do is go to house and steal 50 plates and cheese.

it would be great if choices actually matered

noice, I need to play tw3 when I get a better pc

>Bethesda finally learns from their mistakes
>decide to go back to their roots
>Orcs are no longer playable
>Imperials are retconned by Chim lmao get fucked Talosites
>climbing is in

>everyone hates it

nah, furries are one of their main audiences.

bump

>Alchemy is removed
>Speechcraft and Illusion are combined into "Barding"
>Smithing and Enchanting are combined into "Crafting"
>No companions until expansion
>Stats are back but have no impact on gameplay
>Building is a thing
>Less items to move around freely
>Character level removed
>Remove weapon types with the excuse of three of four new combos
>Blocking and armor is part of the "Defense" skill
>Perks work like in Path of Exile, and every skill increase gives you one point to spend. So every character is the same.
>Breton and Imperial through DLC
>Spell creation is back but without effects

This will not surprice me.

each race gets uglier, even more than the elf races in skyrim
handful of monsters but they are repeated in different colours
no lip sync, it wasnt correct anyway
5 skills that just splinter off barely

i can see them pull a FO4 and get rid of skills, instead just have a perk web
so you can just shoot everyone with bows, dump points in 1handed and suddenly be a god with a sword because you put perk points into it

>one button combat/action system optimized for controllers
>auto lock-on/targeting
>dialogue "wheel"
>default gender is trans
>every male and female hits on you
>furries
>degeneracy

No mod support

Bretons are the best race as per usual nothing new

Yeah it is

Look at the goober on the fucking floor

Skyrim is easily the the most boring in the series aesthetically and main quest wise.

that many people for just the city or the entire hold?

They will make it in hammerfell and talk about Nordic oppression of redguards so they can can racists critics of the game, TES is dead

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 83K)

"Hands up, don't cleave"

Very close to Fallout 4.
I'm sure they haven't given up on voiced character yet even when many people complained about it in FO4 and that while directly result in limited dialogue options based on VA budget alone.

I'm also sure it will have an even more cancerous looting-crafting-grinding cycle than FO4 had because they normalfags apparently still don't have enough of openworld lootercrafting trash.

You must defend settlements which are under attack even if there is already a competent militia defending it.

my god you're right

you will have health and mana. every character level raises the power of your equipment and spells. that's it.

all of them
there will be one perk tree and it'll just be called "hero"

Bethesda can be blamed for a lot of things but not for being SJW infested you memespouting nigger.
>b-but there a gay guy in FO4
One quota-faggot doesn't make it an SJW-fest.

Attached: 2c4c76cc1f3cba3548d16fe887b13632b7c4a28f7b6d14bef9e9ea024e1467b1.jpg (904x711, 70K)

I meant as an example for what would be acceptable as whiterun lore-wise, but i wouldnt mind if entire hold had that amount. because now we have like literally 3 houses and its winterhold

Oh please stop defending their faggotry for free idiot, they are pretty sjw

Bethesda aims to disappoint with each release, so they'll add features on top of Skyrim so you won't be able to bitch about it and will have to hear about how it's the best in the series because of it. Get fucked nerd.

Yet they still wouldn't let the Khajiit be marryable in Skyrim.

This would be terrible.

They aren’t sjw, they just have shit business practices and Todd seems to think we just want more games faster so he orders what are essentially Skyrim mods for us to play. That’s why we don’t like them rn. Social justice whatever you’re making up is a reason that doesn’t need to be there considering it isn’t true.

Whiterun at it's current size would be ideal as a castle: a place to hold a garrison/supply the military and all the facilities it needs to run. Castles don't have to be huge, a small hold with a few dozen people are enough to hold up an army of hundreds if not thousands of soldiers for weeks if not months in a long siege. "Buying time" for your own army to assemble and march towards you is their main purpose.

But it's not a city... which are economic centres and essentially contain everything an entire society needs to run. So every kind of artisan, physicians, libraries, schools, several markets all focused on different things (fish market, spice markets, etc.), banks and what have you. Then on top of that the "suburbs" that contain farmland as far as the eye can see to even feed all the city dwellers on top of that.

If Winterhold and other Bethesda RPG towns were roughly 4-5 times bigger they would be much more convincing as cities. Same for the farmland surrounding it. Farms should be dotted all over the path between Riverwood and Whiterun. and the "radius" of the farms surrounding it should reach roughly until that fort west of the town.

redguards have it pretty good in ES. i don't think they've ever been slaves and shit. that honor belongs to n'wah beast races.

Actually, I think Bethesda will go reverse, it's the best strategy.

>continuously dumb down your game until your reach mainstream audience (Skyrim), only get negligible backlash from a niche older fanbase
>reintroduce old mechanic new fans never heard about one at a time so they don't get lost, get praised like no tomorrow and old fans are pleased to see them back

Attached: 6177af7ab8a6b9281b1a2c546b58a018.jpg (2000x1500, 1.54M)

A storyline about protecting mainland from an invasion from the Sload or some other race. You'll have to build a fort and prepare the province your in for war.
You'll unlock the the ability to create dwarven golems and you'll be able to wear one as hydrologic power armor.

likely will happen desu, of course they'll probably reintroduce the mechanics in a really stupid way

i'm thinking spell making will return.

Witcher 3 Novigrad should be a good standard

to be fair 99% of witcher 3's NPCs are nameless and without personalities or abilities to interact with, also most houses can't be entered.
In tes every NPC has a backstory and personality and all buildings can be entered.

I would play it

looks even better in first person (aside from the bobbing from the early version of the mod)
youtube.com/watch?v=dYrdu2RZIAM

What is Fallout 4?

That's unfeasible for a game like TES. The point is that the NPCs do shit in a TES game, and it keeps track of them. TES just needs better tricks to hide how small it is, though these days maybe the technology is there to have a ton of peasants with super simple daily routines, but they'd probably have to lose persistence.

>everything i dont like is sjw

Go back to sleep, sargon

What do you mean?
Fallout 4's Diamond """City""" is what I described.

They will.
Now Elder Scrolls and Fallout, thanks to their latest respective entry, rings a bell to everyone and people will buy it for the brand alone(even the F76 shitshow sold well, to demonstrate their brand power), allowing them to do whatever they want without worry of scaring off the more casual consumers.

>lmao get fucked Talosites
Fuck you elf.

Attached: c193cd_6357195.jpg (600x517, 93K)

>add a ton of random mob villagers
>TES fans complain that villagers don't have complex conversation trees
there's no point. they can't win

your province already got """fixed""", your bloodline is next

Oh yes, npcs have name and a quest which makes you go find x item to x cave, aslo u can enter their house and steal cheese. yeah thats so much better than nameless npc.

>he does it for free
my sides

Skyrim's low pop towns and cities made sense because historically, Vikings (who Nords are based off of), could never muster huge armies.

Attached: 1544822682105.jpg (774x850, 102K)

No they didn't. read the lore idiot. soltitude is supposed to have at least 50 000 people.

3 attributes
>Strength: How much you can carry and strength in melee
>Magic: How much damage spells do
>Stealth: Damage with a bow and how hard you are to detect

I agree, adding no names would upset the core, I think really they just need to hide scale better. More city designs that don't let you see the whole place.

I think that gaming trends have made more in depth RPG elements more acceptable again, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't mess with it much.

Attached: BkJcjQ_CQAIBLAx.jpg (598x399, 23K)

>historically
this is not a historical game dumb frog poster

no mods
microtransactions and whales

nice projection m8

Half of these would unironically be good changes.

>your province already got """fixed""",
Are you implying Talos reshaping his birthright simply because of his love for his people is bad? Disgusting knife-ear, you couldn't even protect your tower! Crystal-like-law? More like Crystal-like-your-ass-after-Dagon-played-golf-with-it.

You will never see the release of this game.

please don't play any more TES games

>He cares about the lore

Attached: 16629482087.jpg (800x679, 105K)

It'll be interesting to see how changing trends within the industry affect it. I know Bethesda have a track record of dumbing down each release, but I feel like now would be the most feasible time to go the opposite way. Breath of the Wild made it cool again to let players explore organically rather than follow a quest compass. You can already see the impact that had with games like AC changing how exploration works. Their implementation in Odyssey was bad, but they certainly made a big thing of it and it got people talking. I'm hoping too maybe they'll bring back major and minor skills but I doubt it.

I plan to live at least 5 more years

Basically the Minutemen quest from F4

This is how they can redeem themselves. Whether this happens is left to be seen

I don't i just want bigger cities even if lore doesn't say so. but i was replying to other man. learn to read bethesdashill.

This is so bad it may actually be true

>based retard not knowing that’s a jannie meme and had absolutely nothing to do with potential shills
It started with a Yea Forums jannie you dense idiot.

He’s just trolling. He completely ignored a well thought post addressed to him because he had no recourse.

If Fallout 76 didn't serve as a wake up call for bethesda I have literally zero interest in playing that game.

Which one faggot ?

You exactly knew what i meant, stop playing stupid

To be fair, one fucking dude with no technical skills could use the TES construction set to build Whiterun and all its NPCs in a day.

The only exception to this is voice acting, which is why voice acting is such a cancer on open world games.

In 2 month you'll have your answer.
Don't forget to sign up and test TES Blades on your phone.

I think they are done with the survival mode/item degradation tedium.
So if you are looking for something good to come out of 76 there is that.

lmao it wont even be a game xDd is kust going to be an picture of Todd xP is only no magic! only sword! Hahah no city, only an house !

this but unironically

t. Todd

>Kill
>Loot

they'll just warp you around so no Return

You used a meme wrong, obviously I knew what you tried to say because I explained that and why it doesn’t work in context of the meme, once again based retard.

Based retard can’t read or scroll on an imageboard, gets my noggin joggin.

>hate Skyrim
>play Morrowind
>quests are actually memorable
>world looks unique at the very least
>cities look bigger than in the last two games
>can enter and leave them without any loading screens
>even the hit/miss based combat makes more sense in the context of the barebones mechanics
>you can actually chop, slash and thrust by moving accordingly
What the fuck happened?

>>quests are actually memorable
what

i hate skyrim but morrowind's quests are generally even less memorable

Retard. i obviously read all the replies and have no idea which coherent post i was supposed to reply to that i ignored. so i asked which one. but u still cant link one.

UNDERRATED

these kind of threads always strike me as very dumb
skyrim was a 7th gen game, and the next elder scrolls game will be a 9th gen game
I'm sure there'll be bigger cities, and you'll still be able to play as every race like before and you'll have skills from before

>sure there'll be bigger cities
>fallout 4

It didn't turn out so great for Fallout, being on newer hardware.

> What the fuck happened?
You told an obvious lie on the internet and no one believed you.

diamond city was fine

'You used a meme wrong' off yourself

>dwemer puzzle box
>unite the great houses
>corprusarium
>selling a girl into slavery

vs

>kill the dragon
>something about a dog who can talk? idk i never did it
>uhh
>that underground place
>kill the dragon

It's gonna be Redguard focused and the bad guys are going to be white nord invaders. SJW infested pile of garbage.

Gameplay world is scaled down from the lore so that it's fun. Whiterun being the size of the entire Skyrim map wouldn't just be a waste of space; it would be boring as hell.

those MW quests are pretty boring though, even the one where you escort the guy to the daedric party is kind of boring.

50,000 people used to live here. Now it's a ghost town.

Attached: BRUIng.jpg (728x484, 66K)

>start new game
>get a companion within 5 minutes
>companion is immortal and so are you
>every time you take lethal damage you just get downed
>companion will always be there to get you back up
>get dragon scale armor and staff of rape within half an hour

Attached: 1345802981993.jpg (640x480, 96K)

Killing a dragon is far more memorable then a glorified fetch qest.

Oblivion was more boring and generic aesthetically

Would you talk to everyone in a town that size? Would you even talk to half of those people? I wouldn't. I still haven't talked to everyone in Whiterun and done all their quests, as small as it is.

>implying Elder Scrolls VI won't be Todd's magnum opus and shower in a new era for Bethesda
It'll make Skyrim's success look like a wet fart in comparison. You just wait.

>diamond city was fine

Heart of boston
10 unique npcs

yikes

Attached: 191876_1235336166121_full.jpg (320x240, 15K)

I'm still hoping they'll bring back the older games systems and combine them with the talent trees like in Skyrim.

I prefer Bethesda's small cities with unique NPC's then fucking bullshit copy and paste cities
To be honest tho, Skyrim was still shit in this regard. Oblivion did it best

Skyrim had smaller cities than oblivion.

I would hope they've learned their lessons from the two mediocre fallout games they've put out and actually make it fun to play

Run through ark in Enderal and the Undercity as a template.

It's even the same fucking engine as they'll be using.
