there's plenty of valid criticism against against Reach, but it's not anywhere near unplayable. it's still Halo. the series doesn't make any detrimental downgrades until 4.

I dunno why but yeah the concept of Halo 3 ODST got me good. I really liked the idea of just being a regular fucking grunt in Halo. Also it showed off the brutality of the war lot more than the other games, which I thought was a nice touch.
