I have sf5 along with other fighting games but I am too sacred to play online and just rarely try to practice in the training room. I feel like I'm missing out by not playing online but I don't want to go online just for people to make fun of me for being a scrub. Am I over thinking things?

You can't get better without playing the game. SFV is full of new players, learn a simple punish and get used to an anti-air button and you are in Gold easy.

Her max damage stuff is a bit harder than others if it's your first fighting game. Still, if you aren't playing against other people training mode isn't going to do much for you. Hitconfirming against people is very different from beating on the dummy.

I know, I told my friend that my plan was to practice a few combos and then go online, then get my ass kicked but practice against people, and when I felt like I had really learned what I practiced then move on to more difficult things. To really memorize what I had practiced. He said that was a retarded idea and just do what he was telling me. I'm starting to question his logic tho.
Sadly, I have to work tomorrow and it is pretty late now. If you're up for it we can play tomorrow or some other day.
