It's been a while since I last played, still trying to be best friends with this Maya chick. I'm having a blast still. Hopefully Persona 4 will be equally as fun when I'm done.
What type of woman tells a random guy on the internet about massaging her boobs?
>tarturus is fucking ass, have to make a beeline to certain levels that let you save your distance in the tower, otherwise you have to start from lower levels every time >some nights, you just cant fucking go because titsuru is off doing something and nobody else can take you there >people get tired super fucking easily, sometimes after just 2 battles >theres no challenge to basic fights, its always just spam their weakness >the day activities are just selecting one option and then woop, you're done, literally as engaging as being in a coma >yukari cant actually start her SL until like 1/3rd of the way through the game, no matter how coffee you drink
Use save states, fast forward, pick better social links, and play on hard. It's that simple.
Lincoln White
theres no other fucking social links I can do, you idiot
Im already"dating" yuko and hanging out with the kendo team guy, all the other girls either arent in the party yet or are locked away
Ryder Murphy
I want to smell Toriumi's computer chair.
Alexander Morgan
That's why I said have a bit of patience too, you've only been playing a few hours if that's all the links you can do.
Alexander Moore
lonely women are like that
answer the right things, listen a lot, thats how he does it
Aaron Brown
A desperate one
Ian Wood
>tfw no p3 remake where you can actually waifu the teacher IRL
Gavin Cook
Why does she run away from you anyway?
Aiden Gonzalez
Who's to say she didn't plan on asking the MC out after class? She probably just wanted time to get a hold of herself because she was embarrassed. After all, she didn't know he was going to die.
Anthony Peterson
>be me, autistic completionist >try to do all social links run, not for stats but for the stories >i could only go to tartarus occasionally so i was underleveled and those parts were hard as shit >get bored of game and set it aside for a year
this has happened 2 times fuck
Landon Sanchez
Can you even do all the SL without running out of time? I tried doing this with Mitsuru.
Adam Howard
yes you just have to follow a rigid guide
no reason to do it though aside from getting one persona for maxing them all
Jeremiah King
i just wanted to be everyones friend..... dont even like the game that much anyway from what i played
Brandon Lee
cancer
Justin Price
pleb
Andrew Ramirez
This shit was extremely common in the hayday of MMOs. Everyone on the internet (including the women) were incredibly horny losers so constant flirting was going on, even e-relationships.
I know so many couples who met on fucking Everquest.
You actually can reach the possible allowed floor each in one day perfectly fine, two if you want to play it safer.
Just don't bother with characters getting tired thing, it's not that vital, yes they do start to miss a little more and it might be critical with tough enemies, but usually only floor bosses posses any threat that can be easily eliminated with smart Persona fusions.
You will be perfectly fine with Tartarus if you'll be exploring it at moderate speed without much pressure if you just dedicate it one night every week if you don't feel too confident yet.
Ryan Diaz
Cringe.
Hunter Allen
Sadly no, which is a shame. If a remake gets made we might have it though.
Elijah Kelly
Tiring gets worse and worse the longer it goes on. once every party member is tired you can hardly make progress
Parker Jackson
>revamped Toriumi link
i need this
Chase Martinez
I really don't remember having much trouble with it especially in early floors. It can be bothersome in Winter, but it's a chill ride for most of the game.
Christian Smith
I've beaten this game about 6 times and going for a 7th, still finding out cool stuff about it even after completing it so many times.
Logan Brown
The dying guy SL nearly hit me hard. By the time you maxed out his SL, he's already dead and you are just remembering him.
>1 day away from completing his social link >January 31st arrives I feel like I missed out.
Colton Long
He dies in lvl 8 SL.On lvl 9, he drops hints
Grayson Sullivan
Yeah, I may be a piece of shit person, but it didn't leave that much impact on me. I actually cracked up when he started telling his story about alligator and a bird and it kept using that sad piano music, it's like, it's too much isn't it?
I think some of the SL levels would've benefited if they had no dramatic music.
Connor Smith
the concepts are silly, but the whole game has this calm melancholic feel to it. the dull graphics add to that feeling of hopelessness. the music really sells the message.
Bentley Bell
I appreciate the spoiler, but there's no way I could not know being in these threads. I just wish I could've felt the weight of his death. You never let yourself get caught in suspension of disbelief. You're missing out on a lot of experiences that way.
Joseph Thompson
Fuck this game I had enough of that melancholic shit in my life as is, I just wanted waifus ffs, thank god 4 happened
Julian Ramirez
I realize that, I actually really like that, whenever I play Persona 3 I immediately feel the oppressive atmosphere, while Persona 4 is very very easy to find yourself chilling in. It's very interesting how games with same DNA can be played fairly differently. It's just for this guy, some of his monologues, with that song, it went from melancholic to soap opera-esque to me.
That's a lot of assumptions desu, it's just this guy for me.
It'd be like me telling you you must be easily impressionable or some other shit.
Justin Sanchez
>"Fuck thought and reflection, I just wanted fap material to help me forget how fucking pitiful my life is"
Asher Moore
should i get p3 fes for my ps3 or p3 por for my vita lads
>it's just this guy for me. That's exactly what I mean though, do you know what suspension of disbelief is in the first place?
Robert Davis
I would honestly recommend Persona 3 FES just to have as your first experience of it. P3P undoubtedly has some conveniences that just make it more easily digestible experience, but some of them (like Direct control over party members) aren't that good. P3P is more of a replay material with FemC.
>want to play 3 on my vita >only option is shitty PSP version because sony pants on head retarded made the classic port for ps3 only at some point i'm going to stop giving sony a pass
It's when you forget about logic and just go with the flow of the experience, I know that. I just think it's kind of rude of you to assume I NEVER let myself get caught in it.
Bentley Stewart
it depends if you want the full experience or a better game mechanically. like, p3 ps2 is so stupid. characters randomly hate you if you dont spend time with them. you cant change team equipment unless you waste a time slot one night and go to tartarus. theres no fast travel, so you have to walk down the same bland white hallways every day. p3p also has a really cool post game where you fight remixed versions of the bosses and they have more health.
so yeah. full experience, or better mechanics. decide what sounds better to you.
Jose Lee
ive heard that portable doesnt have anime cutscenes and 3d environments outside tartarus, am i missing a lot there? also i heard that the endgame content for fes is really grindy and you're better off watching it on youtube
Nolan Reyes
I think it has most plot important cut scenes, but some are cut here and there.
Hub world is also essentially reduced to VN-ass navigation system.
Luke Sanders
You didn't in this case you oversensitive idiot. That's all there is to it.
Brayden Baker
Exactly, vidya is escapism for most people, fuck getting tired when I just wanted to relax a bit
yeah fes content is worthless. the anime cutscenes are honestly pretty bad for p3. they look ugly and the colors suck even if fits with the game. 3d environments does add to the overall package though even if its tedious. ask yourself i you want the full experience or better mechanics
Robert Clark
Like what?
Jack Turner
So you know how there's this fortune shrine thing you can use to get Slink poiints when people aren't available? I am very sure that using it resets the timer for S.Link reversal
Jordan Jenkins
Did you know that drunk woman some guy mentions in the mall is hinted to be your teacher?
>characters randomly hate you if you dont spend time with them. I mean, if you ignore someone for a month straight, relationships are gonna get strained.
Luke Mitchell
The best kind of woman does that. I was once in a similar situation online years ago, as a 14 year old involved with a 24 year old. I never told her how old I was, but she had to have known I was just some kid. We had long chats that would stretch into the early hours of the morning, lots of flirting back and forth. We even cybered a few times. This is probably why I've gained such an interest in older women. Anyways, P3 is a great game and you'll definitely enjoy the rest of the series.
Ian Russell
After playing P3DN i still wonder why Atlus haven't remake P3 yet
Grayson Morgan
That sounds like it makes a perfect s.link run easier
Colton Bell
Because they're slow and lazy as fuck. I'm sure they have it in plans or are even already doing it, but it will take forever before it releases.
They already bring almost every main characters english voice actor back so you probably right
I can only hope it gonna come out in my life time...
Joshua Hernandez
Man all these sequels coming out of almost/more a decade limbo, kh3, p5, megaman 11, the last guardian, for example. Feels like we'll never get the next games and if we do it's just gonna end up so fucking shit because of the wait. I really don't want that for this series
>you cant change team equipment I'm convinced this is a nitpick from P3Pfags. I've played FES plenty of times and have never been bothered by this. Honestly if it hadn't been for the fact that it's so commonly listed as a negative for FES I wouldn't even know, it's so insignificant to me that if I ever have had a problem with it I quickly forgot and moved on.
Seriously, why's it such a big deal? It's not like you need to access your team's equipment outside of Tartarus. The only thing I can think of is not being able to change equipment for a boss outside of Tartarus, maybe? Does setup time on a full moon give you access? Either way why wouldn't you already be prepared from your last Tartarus trip?
Tactics based combat would be perfect if you had more control over your party member spells and item usage. Like restricting consumable usage or editing the spells on some of the more useless party members. I love the idea of melding the gameplay with the social aspect by having AI party members and tactics work very well in FES, it really just needs some polish and not a complete gutting like in P3P.
Easton Ortiz
It was a great link. Also IIRC in p4 some NPC reads/has his book, meaning that it got big
Lincoln Walker
Man, she became a cat lady after the ending for sure. She was so close
