Fortnite literally gave away 10 dollar battlepasses, did a complete new update and added a bunch of stuff.

Apex hasn't fucking moved in the last three weeks. Respawn is either gonna release something and blow it out the water or they're gonna release their battlepass and its gonna be fucking stupid and the game will tank.

The WHOLE GAME is riding on this next update for them. Respawn devs have been using emojis teasing people asking about battlepass making them think it's coming anytime soon. Posting on the sub reddit teasing and people are getting tired of it.

Recently a lot of big streamers got back into GTA RP. Summit returned then Lirik followed the day after bringing back his huge GTA RP thing. Then a bunch of other streamers old and new came into the mix on the same whitelisted rp server. It's basically the marvel cinematic universe done by twitch streamers in GTA RP instead.

Ugly as piss character designs mean that people are fucking out at the first sign of technical or gameplay issues. The characters don’t attach themselves to you and there’s nothing for you to attach yourself to the game. The initial popularity was just inflated from bought off streamers.
If I got something heinously it’s because I don’t play either of games because I’m an adult, I play ancient games for ancient gamers like Minecraft instead of this 12 year old bait.

It's probably taking a hit because of the lack of consistent updates and the much needed crash fixes. Also Shroud got injured and he's taken time off, he was the biggest influencer for streaming viewcount. Who knows what that does to concurrent players.

Once a game loses players it rarely if ever gets them back. So the game, even though it's been fixed, isn't getting anyone back, cause fortnite got a bunch of updates while apex got nothing.
