I don't have any friends to play with, and I don't try to make online friends.

I've had a few groups I stuck with when I was younger, but it always ended up sucking.

I don't play multiplayer games except card games, and usually my buds ask me if they want to play some MTGA or Gwent or whatever. It's usually more fun playing singleplayer shit and discussing it with pals, and the friends that do play multiplayer stuff usually play things like FFXIV and do nothing but bitch about how miserable it makes them feel.

Sounds like they're shitheads, although you shouldn't be lying and googling shit. Even if you don't know anything about what they're talking about you can still make conversation about it and goad 'em into telling you about it if you're genuinely interested and/or value their friendship. Some of my buds are into shit I know nothing about but I gradually pick up a passing knowledge in it.

I pretty much lost all connection to people when I realized they're beneath me in every way that makes people human and I wish I could go back to the days when my peers weren't so egotistical and noninclusive about their interests to others who don't have prior knowledge of it
