If DOOM flops hard on their launcher they would have to swallow their pride (and greed) and release it on steam so think twice before buying it

Honestly I don't even care anymore. Dishonored 2 was disappointing and I don't even want to finish it. Prey was good but look what they turned it into with dlcs. And Raphael Colantonio had to leave and leave fucking harvey smith in charge. This company is doomed with him imo

I don't know that much about those 2, but I always thought that them working together is what made Dishonored 1 so great. Raphael leaving fucking sucks, but is Harvey that bad? Dishonored 2 was still good imo, just not as great as the first one. I didn't play DOTO but I heard bad things about how they fucked up the Outsider's character, the lore and that his new voice actor sucked.

They just wanted to go all le crazy with those trailers. It's just dumb fun, it's all what the game wants to be.

Harvey is the mastermind behind the classic game Deus Ex: invisible war, so I'm not surprised that the franchise went downhill

Which is a shame because I'm really looking foward to DOOM Eternal and I'm probably not going to buy it neither because of this

Probs a mixture of the fact that it's a sequel to a mediocre shooter nobody played or remembers really, and that all the hype and promotion for it was months ago and has fizzled out.

Also that Andrew WK performance with all the autistic ppl in the audience not getting into it was pretty weird

I'm not too shocked that so many people forgot it existed. Not sure why they thought it was a good idea to reveal the game a full year in advance, especially when there weren't that many people asking for a Rage sequel in the first place.

Sequel looks like fun, though. Shame about it being stuck on their shitty launcher. You'd think after the somewhat disappointing sales of all their recent releases they'd try to get their games available on as many platforms as possible.

if this was on steam it honestly be a day one buy for me, mostly because I've been itching for something to play on my PC and this does look mindlessly fun enough

Honestly It's amazing how quickly bethesda the publisher went from being a decent mid-sized publisher with great devs working on great games to EA-lite with most of their published games being a huge disappointment

JC4 was by the same team who did JC3. Rage 2 is being done by the team who did Mad Max and JC2.
