I know it wasn't a hot seller so there's not a ton of units out there but surely there's some kind of demand to justify these prices for a dead system with relatively few English exclusives. I bought mine 3 weeks ago, used. So I guess the previous owner didn't use it that much. I've used it everyday since I got it. I bought thumbstick covers though, just waiting for them to arrive. Buying anything from China takes 5 years to arrive but at least they're cheap.

I have the same Vita color (see above) and over time they darken so yeah good on you for getting covers. I wish I'd done so earlier.

$100 for the Vita, charger and a memory card. No box sadly. It was the cheapest White vita I could find though in really good condition and not from Japan.

If you have a phat Vita then yes, there's no avoiding getting a memory card.

On the bright side, the 8GB memory card is like $15-$20 and you can just sd2vita your games.

Conception 2 is ironically better than Persona 4. It is also DIRT cheap. WoFF looks better on the Vita than on the Switch (portable) and is a decent JRPG. Mary Skelter is ok.

One day I'll buy that 64gb memory card. I need to start playing it again.

It is, you basically buy an adapter for SD card instead vita card but you have to homebrew your vita. And it take your game card slot though.

With a new 2ds it's honestly just preferance. I stick with Nintendo as I prefer the virtual console they do, they have most of the decent ones anyway.

3ds, ds, gba > vita, psp, psx
also, 3ds has much better emulation for snes, nes, and genesis despite the inferior hardware. the emulators are for virtual console so theyre much higher quality than some port from some emulator made to work best on pc.
also, 3ds ui is much better, hacking is much easier and has an awesome community, and multiplayer games are still very populated.

mgba runs like shit on vita from what ive seen. plus, 3ds natively runs gba games so emulators cant compete.
i did a few hours of research last night to decide if i should buy a vita or not, and here's what i found
3ds is better, but if you prefer having psp and psx games over ds, gba, and overall better emulation for other systems, get a vita

Well vita is a jrpg machine despite not being able to run some properly. Yes, I do agree that vita have way too much shitty vn. I guess it up to personal preference of games, I do play a lot more psp games than vita games nowaday on vita.

god, fuck trying tog et SD2Vita to work right. I spent 4 hours going back and forth with the damn thing, where it alternated reading the adapter, but no vitashell/molecule/hack stuff, and the vita not recognizing it.

for anyone that runs into the same issue, the adapter BECOMES the ux0: folder, so only copy the contents, NOTHING ELSE

even if you don't. I've seen sd2vita support a 400gb card, sony never got to 100.

I don't see the point I already have all the games and it sounds risky af. 3DS I did because it is worth to play my gba games on it and undubs. I'll eventually do it for the vita since I have a FULL 64GB card and I can't download more of the games I already purchased. Fuck you Sony.

Yeah. The weight distribution of the Vita just isn't good and it's unwieldily. A grip helped mitigate this a lot for me.

Not at all but I've never had a 1k. I feel like the 2k is the most comfortable handheld ever. Super light and ergonomic. As far as comfort goes, Vita > 3DS >>> Switch

Somewhat. You have to pry open the vita and nudge the battery connector out of the board. It's not too hard but you might peel off the whole connector out if you force it enough.
