My problem with Gen V is that it had some great designs but most of them were obtained late in the game. You had to go through most of the game with the more forgettable mons before you could get to the meat of the cast. It didn’t help if you had Black which had the worst version exclusives when compared to White.

At least there was the Dream World so you could bolster your team with old Pokémon before the Elite 4.
