P. E. 1 was far better. It had better gameplay and was more original. P. E. 2 tried to be resident evil and had stupid fuckin tank controls, why put them if 1 didn't have those

Because it was updated with current trends in gaming and for the better P.E.2 was all around an improved game over 1 over it.

Was The 3rd Birthday as bad as people say? I never played it, but PE1 and PE2 are among my favorite games ever.
as a boomer who played PC mostly tank controls were weird as fuck, hell, it took me ages to get to grips with GTA2, and whne I played that recently again the controls just felt busted.
Whenever I would play on console at a friend I always wondered why the controls werent like other games. MGS was similar and didnt feel like I was controlling a cripple on a spinner plate

I think europe never got PE1 so people started with 2 which makes PE1 feel weird as a result.

Anyone else grinded to hell and back for BP to max out weapon and armor stats? Took me a two months to max all my shit. In the end, I overestimated how powerful Maya was when I floored her with my maxed out P90.
