You're supposed to meticulously control the LAVA IS MORE flow towards the heart and only the heart so you can get the key. Use the text and the wall to block the lava from growing in places you don't want it to. Can't give you an exact solution in text because it really is just random trial and error bullshit.

It's beatable, try to think about why they left the "wall is stop" string inside the prison and with space to move it up and down instead of tucking it into a corner.

It's not unsolvable. There are just multiple red herrings and uses a mechanic you haven't used at all yet and might not have even discovered.

Ok, i need help on this one, it's quite complex.

The way i understand it, there are three moves before skull is not swap anymore. To open a path through the wall, the skull, while having swap, should go through the wall on the right, then one up, so that two wall blocks are displaced and a path is opened. The problem is you don't have enough moves to execute it well, and it doesn't explain why you have the choice to turn hot walls into stop walls.

Am i close to the solution or am i retarded? Any hints?

Prison is the first time you'll need this technique, but it's not really structured like a tutorial.

Vague hint: You have to realize that you can put words on undefined objects.

Indepth hint: You need to get Baba or Keke in a corner where you can push one part of WALL IS STOP on them, undefine them (BABA/KEKE IS _____), push the part down, then redefine them and you can move them to separate WALL IS STOP because they're now an entity that is two things at once (for instance, they're Keke/STOP.)

You could have actually noticed this happening before Prison, but Prison is the first time you NEED to use it to solve the puzzle.

You propably did it alot more complicated than nessecary. When i did it i turned the leaf into a third ghost and used them to move the entire baba is you row around. The actual solution takes like 2 seconds

You can make two properties out of 4 text blocks by stacking texts on top of eachother when the circumstances allow you to, for example TEXT IS WIN as well as FLAG IS WIN, TEXT and FLAG being on top of eachother.

Holy shit, i certainly didn't solve deep pool that way, but i can see it happening. I don't think it's possible to stack texts on top of one another in deep pool though. The only time i managed to do so was with TEXT IS SWAP AND PULL. If you could make Baba die while on top of a text while having BABA HAS TEXT that would definitely be doable. The problem is the dying part, it would require a convoluted coordination of pushing BABA is YOU into a pond while Baba is stacked with the BABA text block.

I find it is often easier to start working from the end of the puzzle backwards to the beginning. What is the goal of the level? What do I absolutely have to do to make the goal appear? etc, etc.

The LUA scripts are in the game directory and freely editable. I think they contain all of the game logic.

You need to exploit the fact that if you have more than one object with PULL then you can pull a whole row of those objects. This level was pretty genius in my opinion.

Having messed around with what comes after this for a few days now, I liked the first part of the game better. All the levels inside of levels inside of levels inception shit is just way too convoluted for me. I beat the first half of the game pretty easily and didn't struggle too much with other usually considered brutal puzzle games like Snakebird and Sausage Roll either, but the second half of Baba is just too much.

I've tried desynchronizing the UFOs by inserting all the text i could into the corridor then pulling it back, in hopes of reaching the WIN but i'm off by one. Am i missing something? Is ICE IS PULL even useful?

You're taking a wrong approach there. In this level you can PULL all three of TEXT, ICE and EMPTY, and you will need to pull all three of those. The key point is how to use EMPTY is PULL.

it's just the transition between the first, the world map you start in, and the second half of the game, the meta maps where levels cascade into levels and how you solve something affects everything else.
That "level" really is as simple as it looks.

Is there a way to use Ice as some kind of slippery surface, say that things you push on ice will keep moving, but then stop moving once they aren't on ice?

This game starts pretty easy but does get absolutely brutal in the endgame.
If you have the mental fortitude of a 10 year old you will almost definitely just drop it after a level or two though.

The solution is much more of block puzzle to get the blocks in the right spot than it is actually doing anything with conditions.

All of the fucking Garden levels I have unlocked and uncompleted (Got All This Stuff Here, Maritime Adventures, Blockade) have me fucking stumped and I've just abandoned that area altogether.

Makes me feel like my brain is that of a turkey.

The thing is, I don't see how I can get those to move the ice.
I get that the Move is important, but ass soon as I put in (for example) "Belt is Move" I can no longer make Belt is Shift.

The hardest thing about broken playground for me was aligning the (YOU) line in a way that would result in TELE on the same turn as the role swap. No idea why, it's like part of me knows exactly what it wants but then again there's this flawed conventional logic that makes it seem wrong. I love how this game challenges you this way.

To do that, you'll need belts pointing upwards.

When you're Baba, only the Baba line will apply, turning you into Keke when you move.

Once you have two characters and a text, you can sacrifice one next to IS FLOAT which turns them into their appropriate string. Your leftover protagonist is now FLOAT.
