>have to beat easy to unlock hard mode
Have to beat easy to unlock hard mode
>have to beat normal to unlock hard
>beating normal doesn't give you the cheevo for easy
>have to die several times on normal mode to unlock easy
>have to pay money to unlock easy
Dralemgard 2 does this.
What makes it extra bad is that to actually get the true ending, you have to replay the game on hard to unlock extreme, and then replay the game again on extreme to get the true ending.
One of the worst game design choices I've ever seen.
>hard mode is intended for NG+ but is unlocked from the start anyway
>put game on hardest
>enemies are level 80+, one shot you, and take no damage from any of your attacks
>beat the boss that your supposed to lose to
>unlock hard mode
Drakengard 2*
>hardly anyone even know that was a thing because they actually all lose
DMC5?
not him so not sure, but Ninja Gaiden Sigma did it (not sure if it was also in Black)
>have to finish normal mode to unlock hard mode
>game has no replayability
>get so good at playing the game on normal mode that hard mode becomes easy now
>nobody talking about the cropped furry porn OP
impressed
nice way to ruin it
>game has 4 difficulty settings
>normal is too easy
>hard is a little too hard/inconvenient due to features it disables
drakengard is a series full of some of the worst design decisions of all gaming
>let's talk about off topic shit that has nothing videogames
How about no faggot?
>achievement
>beat game on Easy, Normal, and Hard
>beating on Hard doesn't give you a completion for Easy and Normal as well
>easy disable features to make the game "simpler"
>it makes the game harder than on hard mode
>let's talk about off topic shit that has nothing videogames
Who are you quoting?
Retard
I must finish it so I can play Nier and Drakengard 3...
The gameplay is so fucking bad though.
The camera is probably the worst I've ever seen.
The story and art direction is good though in the first at least, thanks to Yoko Taro.
>hard mode is actually the easiest
You retard.
>have to beat game on normal to unlock easy
>but only in one version of the game
>Have to beat Hard to unlock Very Hard
>Have to beat Very Hard to unlock Ace
But I didn't say that you stupid fuck.
>Specific version of game has a hard mode from start, other has an easy mode, both versions have a normal mode.
what the fuck are you faggots doing
we're supposed to talk about furry porn
Name one game.
persona 5
>have to beat veteran to unlock elite
>have to beat elite to unlock ultimate (the only difficulty that matters)
>have to do this on every single character
crate pls
DooM 3
On one hand I have to commend gen V of Pokémon for being the only gen to have an official Hard Mode, but on the other I have to berate it for the method of unlocking said Hard Mode being completely ass-backward.
I think stalker has a thing where harder modes are easier because you take more damage but so do the enemies, which makes em less bullet spongy. Deus Ex 1 also has a similar thing.
I'm still playing through 1 but close to just watching it on youtube. This aged like milk.
it's not fair
Was there ever a game where you had to beat hard to unlock easy mode?
>has a benis
God damn it OP, I just want some cute kemono!
Ah I see someone has played Titan Quest
>unlock the hardest difficulty
>damage received is massively increase
>fun experienced is massively decreased
Me too bro. I'm on chapter 11 though with all weapons and everything else completed up to this point.
I can't quit now.
gibe
No, it might not be the kemono I was looking for but it's still kinda cute and mine.
>have to beat normal to unlock hard
>have to beat hard to unlock very hard
>have to beat very hard to get insane
Not the same name of difficulty levels, but Gurumin's unlocking system was kinda disappointing.
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix depending on your point of view.
>People start on hard mode.
>They bitch it's too hard.
>Tell them to turn down the difficulty.
>They refuse.
Poker night
Artist is dasagi, figure out the rest
>beating the game on hard unlocks very hard
>beating the game on easy locks you out of it until you beat hard again
>have to beat the game on hard to unlock easy
>have to beat the game on easy to unlock super hard
>have to beat the game on super hard to unlock sleepy-journalist-on-a-deadline mode
what the fuck man
found it, thanks
>drakengard 3
it only gets worse, friend
Well of course people refuse. If you didn't beat a game on the highest difficulty you didn't actually beat the game at all.
I wonder the percentage of people who played genV who even know that shit exists
>Have to beat Normal to unlock Easy
>player complains about easy mode being too hard
>develeoper adds an even easier casual mode to the game just for him
Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan
I had to use a cheat to not lose until I unlocked hard mode, then once I played on hard it was really enjoyable. That might just be me though.
