Mr.House is the best faction of the main 4. Prove me wrong. Pro tip: you can't
Barring Yes Man of course.
mah niggah
The best, last hope for humanity.
Yes Man is for literal retards so that they don't feel bad about ruining their save file lmao
>a single free radical (the courier) is able to single-handedly fuck up all of his plans
>for some reason Yea Forums sees no chance that anybody with the same force of will shall ever exist, ignoring that Ulysse's entire character is essentially centered around this concept
sure is shallow interpretations in here
The courier is only able to do that because he gets the platinum chip which is necessary for entering House's neet-den, not to mention that anyone trying to enter the Lucky 38 who isn't the courier is going to get shot down before they can even get inside.
yes and those are clearly the only possible circumstances which could have ever led to House's downfall
bravo
A platinum chip that the Courier was able to get due to the simple fact that Mr. House isn't infallible.
House is a hack that didn't have the vision necessary to fulfill his goal. Anyone that afraid of death isn't fit to lead.
>the Courier fucked up all his plans
Forgetting someone, are we
*pulls plug*
Pretty much. Vegas can't be invaded because of the massive fuckbot army and you couldn't even nuke it thanks to the chip upgrading the anti-missile laser defense system. House is pretty much untouchable by anyone but the courier
He's not infallible, but he's pretty close. He's been almost 100% correct in all of his predictions with only a tiny margin of error. And I don't know what you mean by that second statement, his vision and fear of death is exactly why he's in control of Vegas and still alive after over 200 years. Really, the only thing that could take down House is a disloyal courier, who doesn't really have much to gain from that anyway since after winng the dam, House spoils him and lets him live the neet life in the Lucky 38.
you're absolutely right, proves my point even further that you don't need pure force like thinks
all it takes is one person sufficiently high up enough to fuck things up. like it or not, house relies on people who he clearly cannot predict in full. a "tiny margin of error" has disastrous consequences the more power you attempt to wield- which in House's case is near-absolute
you have a very base understanding of the world, seeing as your main arguments are "why would the courier defect when his material needs would be met" and "robots are strong"
lorewise the archimedes could fuck up House if the BoS got their hands on it
>point at lucky 38
>zip zap zoop away goes the central command of house's robots
If the courier sides with house then that means that all of the securitrons would be upgraded to use missiles and grenade launchers, which the courier doesn't have to deal with if they kill mr house without giving him the chip. Interesting how you left that detail out
Good thing he had the foresight to have the Courier kill them before they could do that then, huh?
courier still has it and you have yet to give a better rationale for him not using it than "lol he could be a neet"
>being smug that your favorite route is led by a mary sue
Your arguments assume that the courier wants House's power for himself. Which he wouldn't. If he did, he would have just sided with Yes Man. That's the entire point of siding with him. If the courier chooses to side with House instead, it's pretty safe to assume that he'll be loyal and that he trusts House to run things the way he wants to. Otherwise, why side with him?
When you leave the room that House is in after killing him the upgraded bots don’t even try to kill you anymore. Atleast that’s what happened with me. Might be a bug tho.
I mean, if you're going to design a route around giving one person total and absolute control over a city and it's surrounding area, making them a mary sue is a pretty good idea. No one would want to give absolute power to an obvious retard.
>Which he wouldn't. If he did, he would have just sided with Yes Man.
Pretty faulty reasoning here. It would make sense to let House do all of the work establishing a stable empire before swooping in. I don't recall the courier making any serious moves to help House take out Yes Man- the single biggest threat to House's rule.
>routinely get critical details wrong and rely on chance to succeed
>this is acceptable of someone wielding absolute power
gonna be a "nope" on that one, chuck
I think I'd put faith into the man who has a plan forward and built the multibillion dollar company Robco that has a squeaky clean reputation compared to the other companies out of nothing after his brother stole his H&H Tools inheritance, oh and also created a much more successful immorality machine rather than putting your brain in a jar that causes neural decay leaving you an unfeeling, schizophrenic lunatic.
Probably because House doesn't know about Yes Man, unless I forgot something. Also the only time he ever gambled with power that I can remember was when he literally gambled for the rights to vault 21. Aside from that he's very autistic about chances and avoids them wherever possible, hence why he has the Courier wipe out the BoS (which he was right about, by the way)
>courier canonically knows about Yes Man
>House does not
Hmm, so let's get this straight. The courier, who you claim must be loyal for siding with house so long, doesn't tell House about the wild card he has in his back pocket that would completely cut him out of the equation. Doesn't quite add up, does it?
Probably just a developer oversight. I also don't think it's ever necesarry that you see or speak to Yes Man. Regardless, how loyal or disloyal the courier is is entirely up to you and how you headcanon your character.
>Probably just a developer oversight.
I mean, it probably is. If not then why do all of House's ending slides suggest that he stays in power and business continues as normal? If their intention was for you to betray him, they probably would've mentioned it.
>I mean, it probably is
>you can't prove that WASN'T their intention, so that means it was!
ok
sauce pls
