The game has a Japanese/English language toggle. It is fully translated. You don't need an app, you play it through your browser. An app is just a wrapper. Just go to the main website.

Example, and just a turn 1. Clicking attack/autoing is only for leeching - which has very low returns but available is you just wants to join raid to do nothing and browse Yea Forums instead.

Actual gameplay requires you manage characters, ability, trigger combos, strike enemy in specific time/condition, defend your team from enemy triggers, heal, coordinate summons etc etc

If anything i WISH there was possibility for autoing later content (at least you can grow strong sufficient to 1 turn tier one bosses later), but theres none.

None. Don't listen to them. At a in wind is one of the worst choice because they have so many DATA and else buff not to mention cap break mechanism on several char. You also don't have a 5* Siete which is Wind core if you want sword. The only time I see someone use Wind at ma sword is in UBHL as Sparta. You better get an Earth Atma Sword so synergize with Alex and Sieg. Also Earth severely lack a good buffer so they need the Atma to pad their DATA

I'd say Altair is pretty important, since he basically offers the whole sandwich when it comes to buffs and debuffs.

30% boost to bar on a 3rd skill.

I'd say if you're running your own Miserable Mist, and have an alternative source of Attack up (Rage, summons, etc), then running without Altair is doable. But he's so goddam useful for being such a complete toolkit that it's hard to flex without him.

I tried it, check out the alchemist event, to get a weapon, you need to grind like 300 medallions and 200 books. That's silly, who could possibly think running the raid hundreds of times is a good idea.

For Strike Time. Her Inert on CA delays boss triggers and she procs her 2nd skill every turn which does a decent amount, and is a good source of ATK/DEF down. Also her 1st is a decent nuke and does Delay and DATA down.
Her 3 is similar to S.Grea, and gives a lot of TA/ATK to a single character, which is amazing for Kengo.

Consider Forte for your backrow. 3% atk up every turn to a total of 45% adds up in longer fights.

Sword is the safe choice. Earth sword is the safest choice, but only if you have Seig and Alex.

Get an M2 weapon, those are the most troublesome to get. Xenos are only time-locked, they are easy to farm. I think Grimnir Harp (Last Storm Harp) or Europa Harp (Tyros Zither) are great choices.

Don't get the weapon. Get the Dama crystals/Outfits/Rings/Tickets. You can get literally any other Dark EX event weapon from the Side Stories as a substitute until you get the Xeno.

I simply can't deal with the constant loading screens and general lag-like gameplay feeling.

Summer Grea's pretty good for basic grids, and she's super useful in a Kengo/Varja team as well.

Are the M2 still hard to get, even with the improved droprates? Xeno weapon interests me mainly because I pretty much dont have the luxury of autism grind whenever a suitable xeno fight pops up, lack of time and such.

The general consensus is a M2 weapon. Even if they're always available, unlike Xenos they're grindy as fuck to farm. You can only feasibly get them through running trains or sniping MVP which is borderline impossible without the aforementioned M2s. Even one is a huge boost to your damage and some grids only run 1-2 M2 weapons (Europa Harp for example), so getting one for free is an amazing opportunity.

Lots but they are slowly being added back to a section called side stories that you can do at anytime. So eventually you will be able to do all the events and get all the characters. The problem is that Granblue is all about the SSRs so your welfare SRs are worthless the second you get them.

It's also pretty impossible to get Visa-chan, OG Medusa, and the like. Not to mention shit like the Lord of Vermilion outfit.

5* Eternal is basically the same as the 4* step and then some hours in the angel halo mines. It's pretty doable nowadays. When it first came out it was so nightmare inducing I dama'd my silver relic.
I spent a good 10-20 hours doing nothing but angel halo and only got 10 fragments. I wasn't gonna waste 80 hours of my life just to get a 5* Song.
They fixed it since, the Nightmare Halo always transforms now and always drops a fragment. Both of those were the worst part about the grind.

Don't be surprised running the same mission 300+ times to meet one of the requirements to unlock the best characters in the game, then grinding even more missions and time-limited events to fully utilize that character, and having a choice to stop with one or doing the same thing for 9 other characters.
Or running/leeching raids to farm up 30+ of a material to make a weapon that you spent days farming up to a usable level that much more powerful, and you're expected to have 6 of said weapons.
Or spending weeks, months, YEARS farming nonstop to obtain enough of a particular weapon to make an entire element viable for endgame.

Rupees can be used in the store as can crystals. Crystals are also used to premium roll.

How long would it take to even get there? I've basically spent months swimming in Chev bolts, harps and axes, I've been playing for almost 2 years now and have never got a sword from neither Chev nor Arcarum. All I have are the shop swords and that was only 2 full uncaps and 1+1 left.

I mean people meme this but aside from a lot of the GRID optimization and character management stuff being outside battle, even when racing you have to decide what skills are worth the time to use. Mashing orange with absolutely no skills won't usually get you very far, and properly weeding out which skills/summons make up for the time spent is the core difficulty in racing.

You can always tell when you've gone too long pressing skills/summoning without attacking when you see other people catching up to you.

I've tried doing main quests, some other quests on the same screen. I've clicked on Raids and the battles finished in one turn too.
I did click one of the event banners and was introduced to a long cutscene. after that, the battle finished in few turns I think.

As you rank up you'll unlock harder raids, naturally. The early game basically consists of blazing through story to unlock the Omega primals in Zinkenstill and then becoming strong enough to solo them until half health.

The main story is piss easy 99% of the time.
Raids are in real time and you can only join easy ones right now so other players destroy them while you're still joining.
If you want content that you can't beat then skip through the event story and try doing these.
