Campaign and characters left, special infected and gameplay changes right

Left if you want to have an easier time on expert
Right for fun

Since all the things that made left good are included in right, I'm going to go with right

The first one.
I don't know what it was about the second one, or maybe it was just me, but I always randomly got vote kicked for no fucking reason every other game.

I wish it could be left, but right has so much content from the workshop

2 is obviously superior gameplay and content wise, but I really liked the characters and the darker more serious atmosphere of 1 more.
Zoey best girl.

right has the campaign from left
so why bother?

>louis
>ellis or coach

Francis, his dislike of everything really resonates with me. Bill second choice.

Don't right have everything of the first one ?

Left because it doesn't feel like an unpolished rush job. youtube.com/watch?v=RXV8p-Y5NTQ

Left because it was a slower, darker survival game. The new special infected in 2 changed how the game was played. 1 was all about sticking together as a group and being more methodical to save your meds, wandering off alone would just get you picked off. In 2 however every new infected has an AoE attack so everyone just runs around loosely, it made the game feel much more arcade like instead of survival.

Contrarian.

Marty just play your fucking game and shut up

Zoey because she has a cute voice.
No one in 2 is likable in any way so I just go random.

>In 2 however every new infected has an AoE attack so everyone just runs around loosely
Well yeah, in Left you could just turtle with your back on a wall with your bros and gg nothing but a tank can get you the new infected were made to fight that

>Left because it was a slower, darker survival game.
Who the fuck went slow in L4D? L4D is hardly what I'd call a slow-burning, atmospheric, cerebral experience.

Don't forget that you can literally play left within right. Left is just right with half the content and fewer mechanics.

I really like how everything looks in L4D1
Even the campaign ports in l4d2 feel kinda soulless

ellis and francis

Am I the only one who hates the L4D2 common infected?
They always look like a bunch of hobos, junkies and hicks even when literally in the middle of a city.

Objectively wrong. Coach and Ellis are GOAT characters. Nick is also great because of his personality change. Rochelle is...there.

Yup. Maps, characters and everything else. Plus the new special infected from 2.

have you ever been to a big city in the South?

They look like tf2 characters.
Probably had to make them look worse for the new gore system.

I mean I'm pretty sure literally everything from 1 is in 2 at this point. I think I liked 1 on the whole more but 2 had Dark Carnival and that's by far the highlight of these games to me. God I miss playing that campaign with friends in high school.

Louis and Coach.

I remember when me and 2 other guildmates used to play this shit until early morning hours. We used to to laugh so much at shit like being ambushed, the 4th player AI, friendly fire and seeing our teammates getting slapped around by the tank.

One of the important things to note of Rochelle's character is that she was initially supposed to be a super liberal type teacher who hated guns and, over the course of the game, would slowly start to like them. She had personality, they just burned it.

Neither.

>Want to play more but getting all eight people is hard

Yea Forums versus when

I choose neither

You never played the campaigns on expert. Very tense.

ROCK AND STONE

TO THE BONE

>not picking Rochelle so you can spam the supremely annoying laugh voice command

anyone remember
>Ellis: [Laughter]

I never had internet in my youth so I could only replay the campaign over and over again. Did I REALLY miss out on that much? Everybody always talks about it

L4D is one of those games that only really shines when you've got a crew you play with every night after school/work.

And very specifically a crew, playing online with randos was a fucking nightmare because it was one of the most cancerous playerbases I've ever seen to this day.
