Chain/Kusarigama or whip if the game has them. Most don't though because animation is hard.

Darkest Dungeon has some great shivs and cudgels. More games need their mooks to use more "thrifty" weapons. It makes it easier to justify not picking up an enemy's weapon and using it yourself if your enemy has a shitty weapon they use proficiently.
