*runs away really fast as epic music starts playing*
haha dude, epic style!
I was expecting Elite Beats.
Not Elite Feels.
come to your mother
That feels was a mixed feeling of sadness and inspiration that never felt it in my life.
honestly Mother 3's sad story was overplayed.
It wasn't the "saddest game ever" in my opinion
yeah
A 'purr' tale.
Hands down the saddest short game that exists
I remember walking dead S1 and prof layton 3 being notable
The only fictional thing that made me cry was the girl from Lem's Solaris and that's because I was a kid.
ending had me fucked up bro
yeah, most of them
i must have some disorder that makes me weak to anything emotional, can't remember the last non-story focused game that didn't make me tear up at least once
You delete this shit right now.
>"lucas remembers claus' scent"
>SNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFF
>lucas
>w-whew, brappy wappy. brappy wappy boy haha
>lucas don't do this
>remember when you used to fart all the time bro? remember how i said: brappy wappy. i used to call you brappy wappy boy!
>lucas i swear i will fucking kill myself
>aw, sounds like someone's about to lay down some more sick braps for his bro
>"claus fired an intense bolt of lightning"
Yes
NO
Whoa! check it out Beavis Lucas is crying again uhuhuhuhuhuhuh, wuss
Final Fantasy X got me fucked up
He can always find another 'River', Neil. He will only ever have one brother.

Crapawa shitjou isnt a video gamr
I cried to The Last of Us my first time playing it.
Why, yes! I cried my eyes out when I realized that the most adorable character in FFIX, Vivi, was dead.
Really makes me think
Twice as bright
That's exactly how I remember it.
once when playing ff7 during the first trip to the northern crater with shinra before cloud goes falls into the lifestream i accidentally used aqualang on my party during a random encounter and it killed them all, i hadnt reached a savepoint and the one before was ages away at, i was bawling crying, i was only 10 or 11 though, it took me an hour to get back to that point and it turns out the savepoint was just on one or two screens ahead.
Funnily enough i didnt cry at aeris death though it did hit me in the feels
also, big boss killing the boss gave me feels
that ending still gets me
also zacks death in crisis core
it was never alive to begin with
Rude dude
>your face will be forever masked
>your tomb will be forever unknown
>you are a wonderful one
Yes, I agree. Very rude!
Cried like a little bitch in all of these
Yup. I'm a complete bitch when it comes to crying. I cry at the most basic shit be it games, movies, or tv shows / anime. Sometimes I even tear up when I get excited about something.
Not sure what's wrong with me.
The weather woman got to me much more
Hey at least the boy gets to see his mom again, it's heartwarming but not really sad, especially when you consider the visual of her dancing around a bonfire fire
No, it was the rain.
Will there ever be a better romance in vidya?
Thinking back to this scene once you've gone through the second disc is kino.
I cry to practically everything with a story that's overwhelmingly sad or happy.
The things that make me piss myself crying are Key games though, namely Little Busters.
Microwave hallway in MGS4 made me shed a manly tear.
silent hill 2
Second disc was shit. Fuck off and stop pretending unfinished content is kino.
ESPECIALLY the visual of her dancing around a bonfire. All that shit she does just to make her son happy and all those people helping her out to LITERALLY CHANGE THE WEATHER it just gets to me. I cry every time
You did delete your save, right Yea Forums?
Mass Effect 2
>rip Grunt
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Majora's Mask
Pokemon Omega Ruby's ending credits
and now D/P/Pt's OST, because fuck me it's been 10+ years since these games came out
>War makes men mad
Fuck just watching the ending again makes me start to tear up.
>No more crying.
>Smile.
Chrono Trigger had a few moments as a kid, but there's still one scene that gets me teary eyed and that's when Frog recalls his past before splitting a whole goddamn mountain in two.
I'm a huge sucker for the ''fallen knight restores his honor'' trope and that shit hit me hard.
Just hearing the music gives me chills.
Pleb detected.
Playing the game for the first time right now and just got to the final dungeon. Its definitely unfinished but everything else is good enough to get me to look past it. Even with a half-assed second disc it has a better plot than 99% of JRPGs.
Have fun in that absolute bullshit eye razor labyrinth
This ending fucked me hard
I won't
this
What if the game's main theme is "cry"
No game has ever made me cry before
because I am dead inside and haven't been able to cry without being extremely drunk in years
Hit me really hard. Honestly the only time i've cried in an actual game
I only cry when I'm alone with my family, or alone period
i really like the sprite artist of this but everything else is a no thanks from me.
I made Yea Forums cry by insulting them
I've cried to a lot of videogames, but I've noticed I cry the most in games which feature daddy-daughter relationships.

Also MGS4's final sequence both leading up to and including the battle against Ocelot.
OOOOOOOH, I GOT SOMETHING IN MY ThROATH
This hit me hard because I ended up on the Emi route and my parents had recently died in a car accident.
That sucks man. Girls get a free pass on this they get to draw eyebrows
the witch's house true end made me feel sick. ruined my entire night
shit man, that's awful, hope lifes doing alright for you now

>family still tells me I'm a great person, potential, blah, blah. blah
>no friends who live close by
>no job
>no decent bars with anyone my age close by and faggot cops will give me a dui if I dare to drive home
I fucking hate it so much, to any faggot on this thread right now, if you have a gf, career is on track, college is in control, get to go out, etc. Be grateful and don't say oh woe is me
I went travelling a few years ago, went drinking with a "friend" I made and they tried to draw eyebrows on me with a sharpie.
It hurts more when the attacks come out of left field and I'm not expecting it. I'm prepared for it 90% of the time

Ending b is what hit me the hardest
choked up at the end of world of goo
wasn't expecting it, got me for some reason
And I was once a cashier that dealt with that shit, it's fucking annoying
This shit caught me off guard.
Such a depressive ending.

woah hey guys

please fuck off
Devils never cry
Heheheheheh wuss heheheheheh
I cried a lot when I played this as a kid
I don't agree that counselors don't care. I find it hard to believe that not a single one of them got into the field because of a legitimate desire to help people.
But if you won't go to a counselor you have to find somebody to talk to. It might sound odd, and I was hesitant to at first, but being able to put words to how you're feeling and talk with someone who's not so concerned with judging you as they are figuring out what's wrong.
I understand how you feel, user.
Mata Nui Online Game as a kid, anything else and you're a pussy.
valiant hearts, red dead redemption 1 and 2, tales from the borderlands, mgsv
haven't finished nier automata yet but i'm getting ready for the feels
that's a good one
got choked up, but didn't really cry, at RDR2 and KH3, and i played both back-to-back. Only time that's happened.
I cried at the end of SA2
I was nine
>mfw lucky enough to have a mother that is a psychiatrist
Has gotten me out of so many dark places so many times. I take for granted how damn blessed I am to have that at my disposal whenever I need.
I didn't rly cry, but it was a bit of a feels trip.
Guys, he might not be kidding. Tell him he's a stupid faggot just in case.
oneshot was pretty gimmicky with the whole looking through your game files n shit. However, it reminded me of my childhood and gave me a sense of curiosity that I had not indulged in quite a few years. pretty endearing game worth a few playthroughs.
This fucked me up for a solid week honestly.
I had no such luck unfortunately. What I do have is two older brothers who i'm very close with, as we're all near each-other in age. There were times when I considered ending it all but the thing that ended up stopping me was that I knew how it would effect them, and I didn't want to make my brothers sad.
MORE?
To The Moon's "comedy" was outright awful but it hit it's emotional segments really well.
this but with my mom.
are you still in college, they may have access to free counsellors, and i'm sure they do care, you wont know unless you try.
Look into getting welfare if possible for your situation or borrow money for parents or someone who can help you if possible to move and get a job to pay them back
yes, the ending of klonoa did when i was like 10
EVA saying The Boss was a true patriot gets me every time.
I'm glad you're okay user, and i'm sure your mom is too.
Ghost Trick. Missile was too good of a boy, he wrenched those tears out of me at the end
Gabe's story from F:NV made me feel like shit for killing him. Reloaded a save and made sure he stayed alive
I DID IT! THANK YOU ANONYMOUS!
The worst part about growing up and moving out is coming home to see your family less and less, until you see the noticeable changes as your parents age and become less and less capable of taking care of themselves.
Persona 4
MGS3
Nier: Automata
This fucked me up.
that's what scares me the most. Whenever I come to visit them they quietly remind me that they're getting older and one day I'll have to take care of them before they pass.
Life is a scary thing.
Every DMC game has done so.
DMD mode fucks me up.
why?
>Joel doesn't die
>Ellie doesn't die
>Tess's death isn't tragic
>nobody gives a shit about the two black guys
Honestly no. I can think a number of moments that made me sad but not enough to cry.
Yes very much so
The little girl dying at the start tho
fuck me i forgot about Sarah.
>Jin told me to take care of you, in his place, you know? Jin never wanted to die! He just wanted to connect with you! He did it... because you showed him a path!
I shed tears of joy whilst watching the opening sequence of DMC5 the other day. I know it probably sounds silly but that was the point where the gravity of waiting for the last 10 years for it to be announced and released finally hit me and it felt surreal knowing that I'm actually playing it, that the journey is over. i don't know what to do now that it is. it's been so long and it's been the one thing keeping me going.
My problem with being so overjoyed with new games is I end up not finishing them. Games I really love and get through a session of a couple hours, I end the session thinking "man, that game is so much fun". Then I think on how I don't want that fun to be gone and I taper off and end up not continuing it.
I feel like a fucking retard for doing this but I find myself doing it more and more.
But I don't socialize veyr well unless it's small talk at work.

>Even savescummed a little when he does die

>I don't want that fun to be gone

That's certainly an odd thing to do, you should try and just enjoy the ride while it last, even if it means some post-game blues
HOTTEST
DANCE
Nah, I can only think of one time a piece of media made me cry but that wasn't vidya. Vidya gets me emotional sometimes, but it's more on a personal level than because of any story beats. Main one that comes to mind is when you're going through Asgore's house in Undertale and come across the mirror, you know what I mean.
>both parents died before I turned 20
>on the one hand it really sucked back then
>on the other hand I don't have to see them get old and decrepit and pay for all their medical expenses (which I wouldn't be able to afford anyway)
Feels complicated, man.
holiday yasumi, fampai. all of its good
Never got that into Persona 3 or finished it but every time I hear Memories of You it fucks me up. Something about that song is just an emotional gutpunch for me.
Muv Luv Alternative is the closest I've even gotten to crying about a game. I get really invested in the story, so the PTSD Arc and the final battle got me hard. What hit me the hardest is what Takeru had to deal with when he escaped and found Sumika. It was clear it was going to happen, but he had almost no time to grieve.
This is the only game that came extremely close to genuine tears.
I knew this scene was eventually going to happen but it still hurt. I blame the voice acting ;_;
Fuck yeah I did
Never played this game (Lisa, right? I dunno) but I remember something similar to it in ToQger getting me a little emotional.
The only time I ever cried at a piece of media was at the end of King Kong when I was a kid
Hit me even harder since I named all the characters after family members for some reason.
I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed. I failed.
Lately I've been wanting to cry, give me some good tearjerker VN.
Please.
I loved KT, but I can´t play it again because it hurts so much to know I will never feel anything like that IRL.
Why?
It could entirely have been avoided.
source?
.
Sherlotta's death made me choke up a bit.
Get out
Muv Luv trilogy. Only Alternative is tear jerker, but you have to play the first 2 if you want to get the most out of it. It's long though.
That was a SHIT ending, fuck it ruined the good ending the first game had with an overused trash twist ending
I got a little bit of the feel at the end of Halo 4.
i don't know user sorry
what happened to giygas was sadder, imho. we didnt even really get to know claus that much.
It blows my fucking mind to this day that the French guy was the only one in that game that died. They had that German guy trapped under debris for HOURS, inhaling toxic chemicals and he still survived that shit. They could have made a serious point by killing off all the main characters but they didn't.
Child of Eden
Ever 17
The only vidya moment that genuinely made be cry. It's not even that good
There were some that made me choke up sure, but none lead to tears.
>that pathetic screech as he curls up while feeling the queen dying
Yes.
>They could have made a serious point by killing off all the main characters but they didn't.
I feel like that would hurt the point more than help it. Main reason I can't get behind grimdark stories, you know how that shit will end. When a death catches you off guard is when it really hits home.
Yes it will make you cry with how boring the build up is
The reason I personally love A Tomato's ending is because it transcends 'telling' its message into becoming it. It's not pretending to unite anyone, it's literally doing it.
The House in Fata Morgana. Incredible story. Cried like a bitch and still feel the feels years later.
No, crying is for faggots. The only time it's acceptable for a man to cry is the funeral of a family member.
Danganronpa lul
Second one especially. Makes you feel like shit
I have absolutely 0 nostalgia for Chrono Trigger, but god damn does it's music get me emotional.
Kara no shoujo
Fucking ending man. FUCKING CREDITS SONG.
white girl and her father .. dont.... tell they fucked for the first time and shes happy ?
fucking white people so funny xDDDD
Understandable, I'm not a fan of games that are dark for the sake of being dark but at the same time, I walked in knowing that it's a game about war. I just felt like it would have hit a bit harder for me personally if another character died as well. Playing as the remaining characters would have an extra sense of tension because you wouldn't know if they'd survive the story.
Where do i even begin with this game?
>Some of the sad as fuck Side quests where you have to kill their relatives (Cyrus being the prime example) or their tragedies surrounding them (you wind up happen to see that one of your resident's husband got killed and the only thing that was left was a scarf)
or
>The plot twist that the black dragon from the intro is possessing your brother and using his body as a vessel
>Finding Miura's sister and eventually kill her because she was corrupted by Chaos
>Esna's endgame
This game broke me down.
WHERE IS MY SWITCH PORT
A switch port with an actual New game+ or a real hard mode because fuck trying to play at low levels, the mandatory fights eventually give you a fuckton of experience that by the time you beat the game, you're already at level 18 (all the characters learn all their attacks at this level, only the resident's special skills are gained by leveling their stores) and maybe an extended ending or alternative endings would be fucking nice.
>Because...
>Because...

Gets me every time its just supposed to be a game about planes!
I vaguely recall getting misty eyed at the end of Terranigma because it was beautiful, and Tales of Phantasia two years ago because I had been feeling the joy of games leaving me, and I didn't expect to still be able to enjoy games on that level anymore.

>Valkyria Chronicles epilogue
When I saw this I thought it was such dopey garbage, but then their daughter shows up which they named after his dead sister and I fucking cried like a bitch
I can still hear them humming
Never had a save to delete because I don't play shit games.
I really felt for Flint, not the kids
Flint is seriously underrated
Yes, the one in OP's picture, the one and only time i ever shed a tear for a videogame actually
Im such a l33t gamer I dont even need a videogame to cry
I like to imagine that kid's wish for her to be with her parents was just a massive fuck up. Like the stupid fuck just wanted her parents to be alive again, but he phrased it wrong so it ended up killing her
Most recently was this. The final case was just heartbreaking.
Athena was so sheltered that she only really had one friend and was raised by robots, mother way too busy for her, lived with thought that she wore headphones as a guinea pig and even that she killed her. Simon throws his life away when he thought the same as well, and the part where Athena tries to "fix" her like a robot was when I cried. I even felt a little sad for the Phantom, not having emotions must be saddening.
I'm now playing Spirit of Justice, loving the new gameplay additions, but man that case was intense. All I can think of when Athena speaks is a small bit of heartbreak and sorrow. And annoyance for usual assistant banter.

I rarely get emotional in vidya but this got me good for some reason.
Really is. So much so that my D&D group is going to feature a Half-Elf jester master manipulator who wields a keytar and is a great emotional controller as the main villain, and his theme will play in the background.
I think what's more emotional for me is the final mission, the entire helping the agents defeat the aliens, being led by the Lucy
Right in the Infinity Stones!
Oh, do not look at me so. A smile better suits a hero.
If you have a brother this shit will hit you twice as hard. Even more so if it's a twin brother.
I will cry at literally anything where someone looks down and out and then more and more people rally behind him and he gets a second wind.
Beneath the gazing stars
Vales deep and forests dark
Betrayed by loyal hands, Her wrath stirred
I don't cry but this is absolutely my favorite story beat, especially when it happens to a final boss.
Yes.
>Darkest Dungeon
>Fighting the Heart of Darkness
>My Jester and Vestal fucking died, all I got left is Reynauld and Dismas
>Unfortunately, during the fight Reynauld became masochistic
>Reynauld's at death's door, and the Heart of Darkness is nearly defeated
>Reynauld just fucking stabs himself to death, leaving me to only have Dismas to finish the fight

I dunno why everyone apparently hates Nemesia in the Radiant Historia remake. I cried blubbery mushy tears at that true ending.
