There's plenty of genres that are similarly lewd but I have little interest in them because I don't enjoy the genre of gameplay (turn based RPGs, gacha games, dungeon crawlers, strategy, etc).

However, regardless of all the bells and whistles a game might have, not many people will stick around if the game itself sucks. Compare the Dead or Alive series to something like Girl Fight! - both are fighting games which aim for sex appeal. However, there's a reason why GF has yet to get a sequel while DoA is on its sixth iteration - the DoA games themselves are enjoyable on their own, while GF's gameplay is shallow and not very fun. To say DoA is only played for its sex appeal is to ignore the underlying systems that made the series truly click with people for the most part. Why do you think DoA has a scene in the first place?
As to whether or not it's moral? That's not the right question to ask. Sure, it's funny to see those blokes who shield their eyes whenever tits pop up on the screen, but sexuality is a personal and private thing - of course some people, including adult men, are bound to be offended. Moreover, there may be other personal reasons why such content is sensitive to certain people. However, when a game advertises its sex appeal, it is specifying a target audience that excludes those offended people. As a result, the people who clamour for censorship of the content within these games are those who are excluded from the specified target audience.
That being said, it's just bitching in the end, but it's harmful. Games live and die not necessarily by their quality, but through word of mouth. To this day many people buy Mortal Kombat games simply because they want to see some fatalities - the biggest reason why the series saw success - and are not actually concerned with the games' quality. When you have these screeching harpies who not only feel offended by certain products but can't understand that not everything is meant to appeal to them, that's when sexual content becomes a problem for game developers.
