Disagree, the combat was really unique and enjoyable. Forced Evasion was a pain in the ass but it was only there as a punishment for screwing up and to prevent your combos going infinite.

I came for the titties but I stayed for the combat and then I came for the titties

Oh, it's been a long time, but I had just recently got my flash card, so I didn't stay long for a lot of titles. I don't doubt that the combat is good, but as far as I remember, I just mashed some buttons and some gunslinger did some combos.

Basically, your attacks lift enemies and with a combo you can launch them into the air. By cleverly lining up your moves/summons/character changes in the right order and with the right timing you can juggle the enemy for as long as you can keep the chain going, similar to fighting game combos. If you let the enemy touch the floor for too long your turn ends, but bosses have a mechanic called Forced Evasion which instantly ends your turn when they touch the ground at all, so you need to gitgud and keep the combo up. I've never played anything like it since, it's fun as hell.

I got to the part where you meet the titty mermaid pirate and the chess pieces were all over the floor as some puzzle, but stopped playing it for some reason and never came back. It was fun though, had good titties

The combat system is like a super watered version and also the game requires no skill for the most part. We either need a proper NxC 2 which had a proper deep battle system and speed based turns, or a new Endless Frontier, but some inbetween shit like PxZ sucks balls.

a proper NxC2 would be better since lore wise Haken and Ashen are stuck in a place that is not the Endless Frontier

I will never forget Endless Frontier, how funny and interesting the story and setting was and how it delivered fanservice wothout it feeling intrusive and that merged well with the sillyness of the charactera and dialogue. I also loved how despite the party being mostly sexy girls our hero only ever had 1 romantic interest.

Also it had a based battle system, very fun and entertaining toFORCED EVASION
