In the PS1 version of the game, Barry will pistol whip Wesker unconscious when he tries to lead you to the Tyrant's room in Jill's best ending. While you deal with the Tyrant, it's implied that Wesker wakes up and runs to the power room to activate the self-destruct system, but is killed by a Chimera afterwards. You can find his body and the Chimera next to him if you go into the power breaker room once the Tyrant has been dealt with.

Well, essentially there are scenario A and scenario B changes (starting location, early Signal Modulator, G5), and the Leon and Claire bits. And they mix and match depending on which scenario you pick. It won't feel that different to what you have already played. You get to use the other character's handgun+1 but that's nothing special.

Lucas was an absolute joke and now we got Red Umbrella, which was in Umbrella corps, and Blue Umbrella. Capcom really just doesn’t know how to move this shit forward, so they will most likely see the success of Vergil as a means to bring back Wesker. And people will love it. He lured the team into Spencer Mansion so they could be killed in order to evaluate how effective Umbrella's creations were. Then, he was going to betray Umbrella and sell the research in the lab and the data on the critters to another company.
Nemesis was programmed to hunt down STARS members (the characters from RE1). However, by the time they could deploy him, the only ones left in Raccoon City were Jill and Brad Vickers. They seemed to have assumed that all of STARS was still in the city when outbreak in Raccoon City hit, but they were mistaken.
