ARK is up with the bests of overall gaming right now.
>The risks:rewards aspect of temporary resources, items, and blueprints produces excitement. >The many playstyles – gathering, taming, breeding, building, fighting (PvE and PvP) – are roles, of variety and immersiveness.
First it was trying to go solo or small groups on official servers while basically staying online all day leveling, building, taming, collecting, but mostly defending from pvp
We got rolled on and consequently ended up merging with some megatribe that ccompletely change my view on the game
Empty foreign servers entirely used for storing and breading dinos, megastructure that take the best computers a full minute to fully render, dinos with rare mutations and holiday colors, it was all just crazy
It's a fun game if you're not playing solo. I got tired of my shit hut getting torn down everytime some retard found it. At least in Rust it takes some serious resources to tear down even a shit shack

I recently played Conan Exiled during the free weekend and it was pretty much an exact carbon copy of Ark except instead of giant dinosaurs you had players running around with giant floppy tits and hairy vaginas.

The game gets boring for me as soon as I start to make it big you know? I stick to raiding small-mid size tribes solo for fun. Frog's are a solo raiders best friend
I guess they weren't your threads, then. Ark sucks. My sister plays that shit, and all she has to do to succeed is get on voice chat. I guess that makes it a realistic survival sim.

Ark? The game about taming dinosaurs? It's pretty good for what it is, but "the bests of overall gaming? I haven't played in a couple years but I just straight up don't believe there's someone out there that actually thinks that.

>tons of Bugs >clipping >unfinished maps >basically forever early access
