The Vita version was really bad because the performance was abysmal. The PS3 version was basically okay - with better performance than the PS2 versions across the board, but also some graphical glitches.

Nah, that was made mainly by former members of AA dev teams like Heavy Iron Studios. Although the guy who was in charge of Jak and Daxter's art direction did direct that game, iirc, and was also the one who came up with the Boom redesigns.

I'm downloading Jak II right now.
The first one is great. Jak II and 3 are good in their own ways but very fun. All of them are decent if not good at what they try and I liked that Naughty Dog was willing to try it.
I miss old Naughty Dog.
