It does unfortunately. Cracks don't actually remove DRM like Steam or Denuvo. They just trick them but they're still running in the background.
The only way to remove Denuvo and therefore improve the performance is if the publishers themselves remove it. Or in DMC5's case if the non Denuvo .exe leaks but that's obviously rare.
