>shoot enemy in the hand
>he drops his gun
Shoot enemy in the hand
>sell an item to a vendor
>the vendor puts it in his inventory to sell
>enemy sucks your dick
>shoot enemy in the hand
>it's not part of his hitbox
>shoot enemy in the leg
>he falls over
>throw a grenade
>enemy throws it back to you
I fucking love Morrowind.
>deplete an enemy HP bar
>It dies
>shoot npc in his primary hand
>next time you encounter each other the hand is bandaged and he has switched hands for holding his gun
name (5) games
GTA IV is a technical marvel, much like its great-grandfather before it.
Excellent games.
MGS2 and 3 did this.
>sell an item to vendor
>vendor starts wearing it
>Shoot enemy’s gun
>it breaks
>shoot enemy in the gun
>he drops his hand
>drop a gun that jams
>enemy picks up gun and tries to un jam it
>throw a grenade at a group of enemies
>one of them jumps on it to save his npc friends
name one (1) game that does this
>Halfway into a map after you've gunned down hordes of enemies the rest lose their collective shit and joins your side in a crazy religious enlightenment against the other factions
Medal of Honor, one of the early ones at least.
>shoot enemies grenade pack
>they blow up
>Shoot enemy in hand
>He switches to his pistol and limps away while free firing
>shoot enemy in the head
>no reaction
>Shoot enemy in head
>He dies
>Alarm goes off
>Everyone else puts on their super helmets not even a sniper rifle can penetrate in one shot
>make a big guy
>the NPC's acknowledge it
>shoot enemy in the hand
>he drops his gun
>sequel comes out years later
>shoot enemy in the hand
>he doesn't drop his gun
>shoot guy in head with gun
>he dies
>shoot red barrel
>it explodes
>shoot gun at bad man
>bad man fall over
If you shoot a red barrel you'll become just like it.
i swear this sub is more gay than /hm/
>steal an enemies weapon
>pulls out another weapon out of thin air
'Nade Hopper
>You'll never get fucked in the ass by jay as he pummels your butthole saying Very Cool! over and over again
>shoot enemy in the foot
>his head explodes
ROSEMARY
Whoa, really?
>you can buy a bunch of stuff from a merchant/vendor and then pickpocket all your money back
The amount of detail that MGS games have is pretty amazing.
Like in 3, you can blow up food storage which will make enemies hungry and more likely to eat food you place out.
>shoot enemy in the knee
>he changes carears to one that is less physically taxing
>enemies have funny conversations you can listen to if you move slowly and don't alert them
More games need to do this
HEAVEN RESTORES YOU IN LIFE
Didn't Perfect Dark do this? I know you could disarm the bad guys with a melee attack, and I think they would sometimes surrender if you took them by surprise when they were alone, but I can't remember if it was possible to shoot the guns out of their hands.
>THAT WAS A LIE
>his limp is an act
>the enemy foresaw that you would shoot him in the hand and is waiting until you lower your guard to shoot you
This is the best trope
>enemies get scared and surrender
>the more you kill surrendering enemies the more enemies attack you in bloodthirsty vengeance
>the more you spare them the more hesitant enemies even are to kill you
>enemies genuinely cry for help as they crawl wounded
>they cry out for loved ones and beg for quick deaths
Guess the game
these threads always go exactly the same
>things games actually do
then
>things that not a single game does
then
>memes and posts that don't make any sense
Metal gear 4
mario kart?
>Punch enemy for over 3 times its hp
>Stab it
>Tentacle smack it
>Impale with horns
>Kick it twice with hooved feet
>Bite it
>It blocks all of this with its arm, breaks its arm
>Do the same next turn
>It blocks all of this with its broken arm
>Repeat for like 20 turns until it finally fails to block
>No downside at all for blocking with a broken arm, doesn't even hurt
Slow down Columbus
>item has damage health over time enchantment on it
no I made it up
I was hoping that someone would give a response for a game I wanna play
MGS4 was the only thing that came close in my head as well.
>kill bandit
>Search his belongings for any gold or valuables
>Just a few coins and a letter from his daughter
>"Dear Daddy I hope you come home soon me and mommy miss you a lot"
>accidentally sell an item to a vendor
>try to get it back
>the new price is 10 times higher
There was a PS2 game built around this concept, where you played as a burly vaguely aztec looking dude and had to try to not be swarmed via brutally killing those in reach hard enough the other enemies hesitate or just stop fighting you. It was okay
Phantom Pain
>accidentally sell item to vendor
>>the vendor puts it in his inventory to sell
>>>the price is times higher
>Certain vendors have certain attitudes towards player
>Some accept returns while some don't
>Some vendors even give you a discount for bulk purchases
>Some vendors have sales on certain days to commemorate in-game world celebration
>shoot enemy in the head
>he now shoots his allies
>Enemy is in cover
>Waiting for dumb NPC showing himself
>He sneaks behind you
How is it that goldeneye had enemies reacting to what body part you shoot them in 2 decades ago but most modern games still don't.
>Enemy can break through Walls and Doors
>instruction manual says you can shoot weapons out of enemy hands to get them to surrender and steal their uniform
>try it
>enemy just picks their gun back up and starts shooting you
Basically it was full of shit. There are specific unarmed enemies that surrender that you're suppose to swipe uniforms from.
Name one game.
I almost had a hearthattack when The End appeared behind me while i was in 1st person.
>Playin sacred 2 inquis
>Has an attack which stuns enemies, does damage, revives them as fully powered astral clones on death
>Another which buffs him per enemy dead with a timer that resets on each death
>End up with a sizeable army of enemies as strong as what I'm fighting and a million hp
Game that does this?
>aiming in goldeneye
The dying animation is scripted, games at the time didn't had ragdoll physics.
Far cry 2?
Dark souls 2?
Skyrim?
FC2 really? Often in that game when a weapon jammed, I dropped it and I have seen npcs pick the same weapon up. But I don't think I have seen an npc unjam animation. Cool, if true.
