There is no "punchline", this isn't an American sitcom. The joke is that someone can't comprehend a simple concept and his completely bemused and unbelieving reactions to having it explained in the simplest possible terms. The sketch would work with any trick question.

A punchline is the conclusion of a joke, where you're supposed to laugh.

It doesn't work here. What you're calling a "punchline" lasts for the MAJORITY of the sketch - the entire thing after the first couple of lines - in which there is no specific "and that's the joke, laughter now, my expectations were confounded and from thence the humour arose!" moment but rather a continually building surreal situation.

One of the most iconic and influential bits on American comedy is literally the same style of joke Brits gloat over. Fast variation of the same core punchline making its redundancy part of the joke the guy doesn't get it.
