To this day I still just enter 236236 instead of 623.
feels good being part of the 1% must suck having POOR motor skills hahahah
but that's two quarter circles
if you tried that in 3s you'd do your super and not your dp
maybe this image makes it a bit clearer...
You might as well just learn how to do it right. Don't take shortcuts when it comes to this.
it's just forward then qcf
not difficult
I call bullshit. It's not hard. Now how about doing a Raging Storm motion?
but why should we have to do it?
I use it all the time after a dp to combo when im using Nameless. You can even do half circle back x2 and end it in down forward if you are having trouble, it seems that people find it easier like that.
Why not?
Why would I want to? Fighting games are depthless games with no meaningful single player that you can win just by spamming duck.
>no meaningful single player
That's not why people play fighting games.
People find it difficult because the symbol is misleading. It fucks up their brains and they get confused.
Z motions are unironically the easiest with a keyboard
How is it misleading?
Or you're just too used to using keyboards/hitboxes
Yes, they play them to win by button mashing harder than the opponent does. Like I said, no depth.
You're either colossally retarded or this is bait.
I have no clue what you think that image is supposed to be. It looks like you're almost doing a Bloody High Claw backwards.
Isn't this misleading for controller/dpad?
I legitimately remember a thread someone said to not actually play fighting games and just watch tournaments because getting gud was too hard. This is Yea Forums now
A good example would be CJ truth winning the red bull invitationals. I don't know about you, but that was nothing but button mashing. I sure hope you didn't consider his playing to be "expert level". The fans can argue all they want that it took skill to play, but they're not exactly reliable experts on the matter, since they can't even go one thread without talking about porn of Street Fighter characters. So I can't trust any of their judgements.
This. I figured this out at age 7 playing SF2 Turbo on a SNES. How is it with all the short cut inputs of today that people still struggle with it?
Just watched youtube.com
Absolutely nothing about it is button mashing, its just lame ass SF5 with at the time the most OP character in it.
Not at all. You press forward, then down, then down+forward.
Only if you're the kind of idiot who spends more time theorizing over hidden meanings behind instructions instead of doing literally what you're shown. If you just follow the arrow it's just right, down, down/right. No half circles. No double circles.
>SFV
>match starts
>6 fucking s.HP in a row
bison mains should neck themselves
Stop playing games that baby you
>Absolutely no button mashing
>Button mashes to start the game
Funny joke.
Yes, the best franchise in the genre is bad.
>best franchise in the genre is bad
I mean SFV is trash, but SF is far from the best in the genre.
>that bulge
unf
Thats not button mashing you turbo tard, pic related is button mashing more or less. Hitting RANDOM buttons with no intent on a specific outcome, its what people who don't play fighters do when playing Tekken or SoulCal 99% of the time.
CJ was just using a really good normal intentionally because the other dude kept falling for it over and over like the shitter he is.
The fact that you don't even know what "button mashing" is and is not tells me how much you know about fighting games.
nothing more cringe than smash bros players thinking they're hot shit pulling this off with ryu
T7, UNIST, DBFZ are all better than SFV
this is what happens when you make dp a button
Some inputs are just flat out easier to do on a stick, hitbox/keyboard. Depending on the game and it's inputs is how I chose to play pad or stick.
