Quake 2 should have been called something else. I really like the Strogg Trilogy of Quake 2, Quake 4 and ET Quake Wars, Q2's expansion packs are also god tier. I liked that Quake 3 had some Strogg shit thrown into the lovecrafitan mix too.

I don't have high expectations for it, I've not particularly liked a FromSoft game since For Answer - Bloodborne is by far the one I like the most and I'd give it a 7.5/10.

Everything I've seen of Sekiro doesn't make me think it'll be the one to buck the trend. There's some good changes like the added mobility/combos actually existing and I was stoked when I heard it cut most of the """""""""RPG"""""""""" mechanics that held back Dark Souls for me but it just doesn't look like something I'm gonna love the way I do DMC5.

It's cool to see two major pure-action games release this year though, gives me hope the genre isn't dead and we won't be stuck with shallow shit bogged down with worthless stats and loot like the new God of War.

DOA5 was also the only game released in 2015 I played, and it was a re-release, I was stretching for the last few years, Rising Storm is an expansion pack to RO2.
