I've started playing DOW winter assault today and does anyone a better strategy for the second eldar segment other than having the farseer commit use her OP power and then commit suicide to refresh it immediately. I've finished the level, but the rest of the eldar levels are probably like it.

Why are there no fps Imperial Guard games.

The short answer is that God abandon our universe, I'd love an fps guard game where you jump between soldiers as you die or maybe in the style of Republic Commando.
Regardless the possibilities of genres of games you could do with the 40k license is endless but only the mentally damaged appear to ever use it.

Been thinking of getting into Blood Bowl 2 since it looks like everything I would love in a video game but I haven't yet since I just feel like everyone has been playing longer than me or played tabletop and I am just going to get fucking demolished.

It works because they believe it works. They are such powerful psykers that by simply believing in something makes it so. Case and point, they believe Commissar Yarrick can never die, and so the man has lived an unnaturally long life and probably has stopped aging.
