We really need a SupCom scale 40k rts. Ultimate Apocalypse is great but it's held back by the game's pathfinding.

UA is hot garbage but it can be a fun mess

I worked on the Ultimate Apocalypse mod.

The authors are just dumb. They've ripped many models from other mods and even snipped their competition by striking them with copyrights.

But are blandly using stolen models from Doom 3, Garrys Mod, DOW2 and DOW1 mods.

When they ask you what they want to do with your models they act like a child trying to ask for a toy they want.

I have entire conversations with lord_cylarne about this.

I was going to give them all my space marine models but they've ripped them from garrys mod and haven't even bother to get the texture or scale correct.

I don't know what to say other than they are just fucking idiots.

Unification mod is better

Autist do it for passion, professionals do it for paycheck.
And one get paid the same whether they do barely average work or poor their soul into it.

I liked Titanium Wars because that Sisters HD reskin mod it includes is great.

Massive case of quantity vs quality here, the mod is an absolute clusterfuck and even by the rock bottom standards of Soulstorm it wouldnt be a marketable product.

Modders often go for niche interest or quality of life changes that are often missed/cut by devs on tight budget or time constraints. They're also starting with functional platform thats infinitely easier to modify than create from scratch.

I know liberties had to be taken for the game but lore wise how big are imperators exactly? Sources seem to alternate between city sized mechs to just twice as big as a reaver.

I honestly dont understand how incredibly retarded Relic had to be to fuck up the Dawn of War formula. I mean from day fucking one they got push back when they showed the meme tier gameplay and they continued to push ever forward autsitically.
