Probs a third worlder lmao.

>be brazillian

Imagine buying saving up 2 years to buy a PS4 Pro when a PS5 is on the horizon and you could get a regular PS4 and get similar results

>two years
World's poorest BR?

It's cheaper to get used but hacked console. What's the point?
He would buy PC then.

I am poor as shit and even I can buy game consoles
I buy them used and dirty and shit, they look like hairy ass but they work well

Vidya is cheaper than ever, just don't buy day one

>are video games getting too expensive Yea Forums?
maybe he wasn't saving very hard?
or was a kid (like you)

Could be a 14 year old or something.

its not that videogames are too expensive
its that wages are too damn low
while the rich get richer
you have less and less games
they are literally taking your games away

>that 12 rating
probably a third worlder or sth

was that the cheapest game he could find kek

is that the average redditor

It's best the cost per hour of entertainment there is, besides a fucking BALL or other cheap sports equipment.

>Probs a third worlder lmao
Even 3rd worlders already have PS4s for FIFA

It happened with PS2 and Sport Games, PS3 and Sports game, so I don't see the trend stopping for PS4.
Third world markets still rely on older-gen and that's fine, because Sony still stands to gain. Sure, it's not a lot of money in the end, but its still helping the bottom line. Just like PS1, PS2 and PS3.

Two years to save up $400. Quit paying for your wife’s son.

Holy fuck I went to the post to see where this nincompoop lives and the comments gave me autism. Reddit is the gayest fucking place on the internet.

>Be brazilian
>90% of people poor
>10% high middle class/rich keep convincing the poor to elect socialist politicians
>90% of people end up voting wrong all the time
>When they get upset they wait another 4 years
>then spend 4 years waiting
>after 4 years of waiting they repeat the process
It is a genius idea actually

>$60 usd is too expensive for ps4 game reeeeeee!!!

Why would you vote for little Wang Yang when you could vote for big rod Todd?

if I was poor I probably wouldn't go for some overpriced Pro bundle

>its that wages are too damn low
>while the rich get richer
to add to that it's more like
>the cost of life increased
>low paying jobs income have slightly increased
>average income hasn't increased at all
> rich people's money has massively increased
Basically there are less and less difference between middle class and poor people while the difference between middle class and rich has massively increased

>save up for two years for a console
>picks up the actual worst exclusive for it

backlog
not like Playstation does backwards compatibility

Games are more expensive than ever because of digital distribution when you take into consideration you don't get a physical copy or manual, DLC and micro transactions exist, games are intentionally released unfinished or unplayable without a patch, etc.

PS5 is coming out next year...

probably baiting an Epic Redditor to give him games in the comments

Because Todd doesn't have 49 dead muslims behind his name

No. Did you have trouble gathering enough money to buy a PC/console/games?

I'm a drug addict and I can still afford a high end PC and Nintendo switch. Both of which I bought at the same time. (and a new phone)

If it took 2 years to save for a ps4 that means he was only able to save like $3 per week. Fucking kek

Yes, everywhere except ONE store is asking $90+ for Metro: Exodus.

Sure, its probably a great game, but fuck off.

No, but modern games aren't worth purchasing.

>Wait until the end of the consoles lifetime
>Get games super fucking cheap because you don't play multiplayer, you won't need multiplayer patches, or don't use networking anyway
>Don't have to worry about updates bricking your console if you mod it since the consoles firmware versions are probably finalized and no longer maintained

It was an important lesson I learned when the Dreamcast/PS2/Xbox hit the end of their shelf life; there are always games you never finished or didn't play on defunct consoles so you have a massive library of things to go through before the next console is discontinued.

Yep, only bought a PS4 last year for cheap

Recently bought a new copy of DOOM for 20€, super cheap and had a lot of fun

>you have less and less games
Literally more and more every year. Over 7000 games will be published on Steam this year.

This.
Vote Yang.

>PS4 MSRP is 300 dollars
Stupid thing should go down to like 250 at this point. The hardware is stupidly weak and outdated.

>OLD GOOD
>NEW BAD
Go away boomer.

Just buy a used PS4 on ebay.
Don't give Sony any of your money.

No. Gaming is a cheap hobby.

What happens is that people buy stuff at launch. You can buy TONS of games on a flash sale. And a PS4 lasts you seven years.

Should have saved for a PC instead.

>playing fps on a console.
Thats where you're wrong, kiddo.

I'm just gonna stick to my PC and wait to to see if the 5 has extensive BC. It's not an issue of being able to afford it so much as I feel that it's too pricey for what you're getting specwise. Same with the xbone s.

Probably Greek or canadian

I don't see the problem here, the guy got the console at the best time possible, all big games are already out and discounted.

>plebitors falling for "im poor :(" scam yet again

There's no reason to wait outside of second console revisions now because games are always going to be $20 in a couple months unless you're a Nintendo game.

Leftism, rightism and radical centrism are all degenerate ideologies. Lets put aside our childish differences to SECURE THE BAG.

Depends on circumstances. I can relate to this guy because I'm saving money for the Switch, and while I have more than enough money for it and the games I want, I want to be done with my backlog, I want to travel once I graduate, I want to be able to get my own place and leave my family's place, I want to find a better job than the one I have, and these thing cost money too. It could be this guy's case too, he could have been saving money for other things as well.

There are also a bunch of people who wait until prices lower for consoles and video games, or until they can find what they want second-hand.

Someone should post the screenshot of the guy on reddit who was like "i have depression :( and i didn't want to fight ganon till i was ready. now Im ready :)"

I got mine for free in a local FIFA tournament. Literally the only reason I play FIFA is to get a free console at the start of the the generation. Did the same shit with the ps3, but back then people still played PES.

Weren't consoles expensive when you were young? I remember not getting any because for those days their price was expensive too.

You maybe had one or two friends with a console, nowadays it seems every kid has some console at their house with a ton of videogames.

Absolutely fucking based.

Nah. Im not brit, but I live in uk, most new releases can be bought day 1 around £35-40, its cheap af. I've been getting more games day 1 since I started living and working here

>Saving money
>For a 400-500 dollars\euros toy

Its like a quarter of my monthly in what hellish shithole you have to live to have problems to buy a ps4? And i work in a fucking gas station.

In addition to shitty wages, in many shitholes like Brazil and Eastern Europe consoles get a ridiculously high mark-up because of corrupt governments classing foreign electronics as "luxury items" and taxing them according. PS4s launched in Brazil for literally $2000USD.

I'm eastern european.
A PS4 is a month's wage where I live.
I have a 1080ti + Ryzen though and pirate everything lol

South american fag here, i can confirm, every console and games are extremely overpriced mostly because of it has tons of taxes. For example PS4 games go from 80 usd or higher

no, theres just a pandemic of employers refusing to pay their employees a livable wage, and collude to avoid being forced to pay their employees a livable wage.
what I'm saying is a businessman that can only make a profit via sweatshop conditions is deserving of assassination under the ethics of free market
