I've been playing this game since 2007 and I think I've finally settled into my main-- Hybrid Demoknight. Grenade launcher, Tideturner, and the skullcutter.
Problem is: I can fight well at long range with the GL, I can fight well at close range with the skullcutter, but at medium range I get fucked because I can't land direct hits with the GL reliably.
How do I get good at grenade launcher?

The only time I ever used the Amby was for those situations where the engineer was fucking surrounded by his teammates and I needed to pick off the motherfucker from a distance because just charging in and sapping is a bad idea most of the time because most of the time theres a pyro with a homewrecker.

The Nerf really hurt our ability to deal systematically deal with dug in engineers.

That's an if. DHs are rarely found in game (at least from my servers) and most Pyros have a hard time changing their gut-feel deflect from normal rockets to fast rockets.They have a better time deflecting barrage bazooka missiles.

The intels and courtyards are primed with easy sentry nest spots. If you have a half-competent gaggle of Texans building away, you're not getting through any of those areas unless you have a coordinated uber push. Someone else could probably list off some more reasons why the map is bad, I'm tired as fuck right now.

Nearly all CTF maps are bad in design for fluid, non-hallway clusterfuck games.
