As Link stands before the Triforce, the only thing on his mind is Kass.
Link closes his eyes as he pictures the Rito. The Hylian hears Kass's soothing voice and melodious accordion.
The Hero of the Wild has been all over the vast land of Hyrule. He's met hundreds of beings of various races.
But no one captivated him quite like that avian did.
For the sake of focusing on his quest, Link put his feelings aside as he prepared to defeat Calamity Ganon. Once Link saved Hyrule, he went on a new quest: to find the Triforce.
As the Hyrule Historia says, "the Triforce grants wishes to those who touch it. Since the Triforce does not distinguish between good or evil, it allows both good and bad wishes."
Link hopes that it allows weird wishes as well. He takes a deep breath, reaches out, and touches the Triforce.
According to legend, "the stronger the wish, the more powerful the Triforce's expression of that wish."
Link's wish is so strong that the whole of Hyrule will never be the same.

"...Something wrong?" Amali asks.
Kass, who was gazing out of the side of their home in Rito Village, turns to look at his wife.
"I've been thinking about my accordion," Kass replies. "It's quite special to me, as you know. My parents gave it to me just before my seventh birthday.
"Someday, there will come a time when I must pass it on," Kass continues. "...But the question is, which of our daughters should inherit it?"
Amali smirks. "Are you sure that any of them will even want it in the first place?"
Kass chuckles. "A good point indeed. Ah, well. I suppose that I can worry about handing down my accordion later."
Just then, a familiar face appears.
"Ah, Link!" Amali grins. "Still in the habit of walking into others' homes uninvited, I see."
Kass laughs. "She jests, Link. You're always welcome in our home. What brings you here at this late hour?"

"Of course," Kass says. He turns to Amali. "Please excuse us, dear."
Link and Kass walk up to Revali's landing -- a platform high up in Rito Village, which is comprised of wooden structures that surround a tall, narrow mountain.
Once they arrive, Kass asks: "How may I help you, Link?"
Link takes a deep breath. "...I... I'm in love with you, Kass."
Kass's eyes widen. "I-I beg your pardon?"
"It's true," Link sighs. "I'm sorry if that makes you uncomfortable... but I just had to tell you."
Kass blushes hard. "I suppose that the rumors about your sexual orientation were true... In any event, as flattered as I am, I'm straight, and happily married with children. I'm not sure what you expected to hear... but I'm sorry if I disappointed you."
Link smiles at the Rito. "I'm not disappointed at all... because I wish that everyone will always be able to see my handsome boyfriend, Kass~"
Kass's body immediately begins to expand. Like other Rito his age, Kass has a natural hourglass figure, with a barrel chest, wide hips, and a trim waist.
That trim waist quickly disappears as Kass grows a yellow pot belly that stretches out his belt and the bottom of his brown leather breastplate. The upper part of that piece of armor gets stretched as well as Kass's yellow chest swells even larger.
Teal flab rolls show up on the Rito's once-trim sides. He grows a pair of light-blue chubby cheeks on the sides of his face. He develops a yellow double chin, which presses against his scarf.
Two prominent white buttocks show up behind Kass's hefty haunches. Even his wings, tail, and talons thicken a bit.
Link watches Kass's expansion with a dropped jaw. "...I wonder what your wife will say when she sees you like this," Link muses.
"Wife? What wife?" Kass smiles down at the Hylian. "I've never been married... but perhaps that'll change someday, my beloved Linky~"
