Peak FF Kino is better than peak Zelda but FF's reaching that level is rare and usually subjective to each player.
But at worse Zelda at least tries new things, whether it be controls ore setting or hell most of BOTW. On the other hand when FF takes a dump its usually astronomically bad.

Square literally got lucky with FF7, which is evident by the fact that it’s the only good 3D FF game, not only that, but it is a fucking FANTASTIC game that still holds up.
Most 3D Zelda games are really lame though, I really love MM, but I’d say the series more than likely peaked with BOTW.
